The San Francisco Giants are on the road for the finale of a three-game series with the Colorado Rockies Sunday afternoon. In the series opener on Friday night, it was Colorado picking up a 5-4 victory to take the early series advantage. The pitching matchup for Saturday’s middle game of the set saw Madison Bumgarner take the mound for the Giants against the Rockies’ Jon Gray.

After needing 14 starts to record his first victory at Wrigley Field since joining the Cubs last year, Yu Darvish looks for back-to-back wins at the Friendly Confines on Sunday when Chicago tries to sweep a critical three-game series from its division rivals, the Milwaukee Brewers.

The first-place Houston Astros will host the Seattle Mariners as the AL West foes conclude a three-game series Sunday afternoon from Minute Maid Park. The Mariners will give the call to 32-year-old left-hander Tommy Milone, and the dominating 36-year-old right-hander Justin Verlander will be on the mound for the Astros. The Astros own a 10-1 lead in the season series.

The Minnesota Twins and the Kansas City Royals will wrap up a three-game divisional series Sunday afternoon from Target Field. The Royals will give the call to 24-year old right-hander Brad Keller, and the Twins will reply with 29-year old right-hander Jake Odorizzi. The Twins hold a 7-3 lead in the season series.

The New York Mets are on the road as they play the final game of a three-game series with the fading Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday afternoon. In the opening game of the series Friday night, the Pirates picked up an 8-4 victory for just their fourth win since the All-Star break. 

The Cincinnati Reds are on the road as they finish up a four-game series with the Atlanta Braves Sunday afternoon. Atlanta won the opening game of the series 4-1 on Thursday night before the Reds answered with a 5-2 victory on Friday night to square the set. The pitching matchup for Saturday’s third game of the series saw Trevor Bauer make his Cincinnati debut: he faced off with Atlanta’s Dallas Keuchel. 

The Los Angeles Angels play the final game of a three-game series with the Cleveland Indians Sunday afternoon. In the opening game of the series Friday night, it was the Tribe picking up a 7-3 victory to draw first blood. The pitching matchup for the middle game of the set Saturday night saw Felix Pena get the call for the Angels against the Indians’ Adam Plutko. 

The Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago White Sox will conclude a three-game series Sunday afternoon from Citizens Bank Park. The White Sox will give the starting nod to 25-year old right-hander Reynaldo Lopez, and the Phillies will have 30-year old left-hander Drew Smyly take the mound. The White Sox won Friday’s series opener 4-3 in 15 innings.
