The New York Yankees will be trying to put their recent road trip behind them and build on their Al East lead when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the final game of their two-game interleague series on Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday afternoon on the MLB diamond and a pair of teams from the National League Central will square off as the Pittsburgh Pirates duke it out with the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark in the final game of a three-game series.

The Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves will conclude a three-game divisional series Wednesday afternoon from Nationals Park. The Braves will hand the ball to 21-year-old right-hander Mike Soroka, and the Nationals will give the call to 35-year-old right-hander Anibal Sanchez. The Nationals lead the season series 6-5, and the Braves own a 5.5 lead ahead of the Nationals for 1st place in the NL East.

In what could be a showcase start for Dinelson Lamet, the right-hander tries again for his first victory since coming back from Tommy John surgery Tuesday when the San Diego Padres wrap up a two-game series with the Baltimore Orioles.

The Philadelphia Phillies will host the San Francisco Giants in the first of a three-game set Tuesday evening from Citizens Bank Park. The Giants will give the call to 26-year old right-hander Tyler Beede, and the Phillies will send 30-year old left-hander Drew Smyly to the mound. This is the first series this season, and the Phillies posted a 4-3 record against the Giants last year.

The Washington Nationals will host the Atlanta Braves in an NL East clash Tuesday night from Nationals Park. The Braves will hand the ball to 28-year-old right-hander Julio Teheran, and the Nationals will respond with 26-year-old right-hander Erick Fedde. The Nationals own a 5-4 lead in the season series entering Monday’s series opener.

The Arizona Diamondbacks continue a road trip as they open up a two-game interleague set with the New York Yankees Tuesday night. Arizona closed a four-game set in South Beach against the Marlins Monday night hoping for a split: they were beaten 5-1 Sunday afternoon. New York salvaged the finale of a four-game series on the road against the Red Sox, winning 9-6 Sunday night to avoid a sweep.

The Astros have been on a roll since the All-Star break and have won 11 of their last 17 games, which has helped them maintain an eight-game lead in the AL West despite the strong play of the Oakland Athletics. They will try to keep the momentum going with a win over the Indians, which will give them their third win in a row and 12th win in their last 18 contests.

The Boston Red Sox will be trying to pick up their third consecutive series win and decrease New York’s lead in the AL East when they take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the first game of their three-game series on Tuesday night.

The Minnesota Twins are on the road for the opener of a three-game set with the Miami Marlins Tuesday night. Minnesota took three of four on the road against the White Sox over the weekend, rolling to an 11-1 win in the finale Sunday afternoon. Miami closed their four-game series with the Diamondbacks at home Monday night looking for a series win: they prevailed 5-1 Sunday afternoon.

Why Choose TGF?

The art of sports betting is not something that is taught or learned overnight. Like most hobbies, it takes time and effort to pick winning spreads and keep momentum. Many novice sports bettors choose to bet with their hearts instead of their minds. Sports betting is about statistical information, the type of knowledge that only comes through following teams, players and game results.
