Major League baseball action on Saturday afternoon and a pair of teams from the American League East will square off as the Baltimore Orioles grapple with the Boston Red Sox. The Chicago White Sox will take on the New York Yankees in Game 2 of their weekend series on the road at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Washington Nationals will host the Pittsburgh Pirates as the clubs open a three-game series Friday night from Nationals Park. The Pirates will give the starting call to 26-year old right-hander Trevor Williams, and 29-year old left-hander Patrick Corbin will take the mound for the Nationals. The Nationals went 5-2 against the Pirates last season. Trevor Williams will make his third start of the season, targeting his third straight Quality Start.

The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels will get a three-game series started when they clash at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Friday afternoon. They extended their winning streak to six by beating Milwaukee 4-2 on Wednesday.

Looking to further their fast start and record their second five-game winning streak of the young season, the Tampa Bay Rays continue their road trip north of the border Friday night with the first of three game games against the Toronto Blue Jays. Tampa Bay (10-3) got a much deserved day off after completing a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox with a 9-1 romp Wednesday.

A pair of struggling teams trying to regroup after being swept in their previous series meet in New York, where the Yankees open a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox on Friday night. White Sox starts have recorded a ghastly 14.43 ERA during this run, with no one getting through five innings and opponents are teeing off at a .413 clip.

The sixth-seeded Brooklyn Nets are on the road as they take on the third-seeded Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their best of seven series Saturday afternoon. Brooklyn finished the regular season with a 113-94 home win over Miami Wednesday night. Philadelphia dropped Chicago 125-109 at home in their last game Wednesday night. The 76ers own a 113-83 advantage in the all-time regular season series but the teams split four meetings this season. This marks the third playoff series between the franchises: each team has won one with the 76ers owning a 4-3 edge in playoff victories.

The Texas Rangers will host the Oakland Athletics as the AL West rivals resume a three-game series Saturday night from Globe Life Park in Arlington. The Athletics will send 35-year old right-hander Marco Estrada to the mound, and the Rangers will counter with 27-year old right-hander Adrian Sampson. The Athletics went 13-6 against the Rangers last season.

Why Choose TGF?

The art of sports betting is not something that is taught or learned overnight. Like most hobbies, it takes time and effort to pick winning spreads and keep momentum. Many novice sports bettors choose to bet with their hearts instead of their minds. Sports betting is about statistical information, the type of knowledge that only comes through following teams, players and game results.
