NBA Playoffs Picture

With under 10 games remaining the NBA regular season is rapidly drawing to a close. In the East, Toronto appears to have a stranglehold on the #1 seed leading by 3.5 games over the Celtics. The Raptors are 7-3 in their last ten and look to be firing on all cylinders heading into the postseason. A few position and seed battles for the remaining 7 but most appear to have their playoff spots locked up. The Pistons are 5.5 games out of the #8 seed with only 11 to play so they would need a miracle to sneak in.

The West appears to be Houston’s to lose as the Rockets have a 5 game lead over the Warriors who appear to have most of their team currently injured. A lot of potential shuffling between the last 4 to 5 teams in the West as they are all within a game or two of each other. The Nuggets and Clippers are currently on the outside looking in sitting behind the red-hot Jazz, who currently hold the 8 seed.

The Warriors are still the current favorites to bring home the title at -125.  The Rockets odds continue to drop as people are starting to hop on the bandwagon.  They are currently listed at +180. They are followed by the Raptors at +775 and the Cavaliers at +930 from the East.

March Madness Rolling Along

It took quite a few wild turns to get their but we have finally reached the final four. Everyone’s favorite Cinderella in Loyola-Chicago joins a trio of college blue bloods. Michigan carried their hot end of the year run to a final four appearance along with #1 seeds Kansas and Villanova. Loyola is the fourth #11 seed to reach the final four and will look to be the first to win it all.

Villanova remains the favorite to cut down the nets as they have been since the start of the tourney.  They are currently even money while Michigan checks in next at 5/2. Kansas is 3/1 while the longshot Ramblers are 12/1.

Offshore Report

Looking around the industry a little and seeing no major issues of payout problems.  Seeing a decent amount of complaining about various amounts being different when receiving Bitcoin payouts. With the volatility the digital coin has been experiencing recently it has probably led to some drastic differences in payout requests and actually receiving funds. Not much the punter can do unless they are willing to try and wait for periods of lesser variance with Bitcoin. Right now 10-15% swings have been rather frequent and unpredictable.

Going on 3 to 4 weeks now and still seeing issues of ongoing site issues with one of the big players in BetOnline. No reported fund issues but not being able to log on and wager is starting to create problems. Customer service has handed out a few free dollars to make up for the inconvenience but some are getting fed up. Hopefully, this is something they are able to get under control in the near future. It’s never a good thing to have your platform down during March Madness.
