Betting Pick: Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers

The Chicago White Sox are on the road as they play the nightcap of a day-night doubleheader with the Detroit Tigers Tuesday night. Chicago took two of three on the road over the Phillies over the weekend, winning the rubber game 10-5 Sunday afternoon. Detroit was swept on the road by the Rangers, losing the finale 9-4 Sunday. The pitching matchup for the first game of the twinbill Tuesday afternoon saw Dylan Cease take the ball for the White Sox: he was scheduled to face off with the Tigers’ Daniel Norris.

Chicago won two of three on the road over the Phillies in interleague action over the weekend though it means little in the grand scheme of things. The White Sox entered Monday third in the AL Central, 20 games behind the Twins in the division. Chicago got two hits each from Ryan Goins (two runs, RBI) and Yolmer Sanchez (run, RBI) in the victory. Leury Garcia (his seventh), Tim Anderson (his 12th) and Eloy Jimenez (his 18th) each homered in the contest. The offensive support helped Rodrigo Lopez (6-9) earn the win on the mound: he threw 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

Detroit was swept on the road by Texas for their third straight loss and 10th in the last 12 games. The Tigers entered Monday in the basement of the AL Central, 35 games behind the Twins in the division. Detroit got two hits from Niko Goodrum (run, two RBI), Miguel Cabrera (run) and Brandon Dixon in the loss. Jordan Zimmermann recorded a no-decision in the contest as he allowed four runs on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts over six innings. Jose Cisnero (0-3) took the loss on the mound as he allowed two runs on no hits with two walks and no strikeouts over two-thirds of an inning.

Why Choose TGF?

The art of sports betting is not something that is taught or learned overnight. Like most hobbies, it takes time and effort to pick winning spreads and keep momentum. Many novice sports bettors choose to bet with their hearts instead of their minds. Sports betting is about statistical information, the type of knowledge that only comes through following teams, players and game results.
