Must See Matchups Week 2 NFL:

After a week 1 in the NFL that had a few upsets (Chiefs over Patriots, Jaguars dominating Texans) and a lot of low scoring games we move on to what I’m sure will be an action packed week 2. Here are a few matchups for week 2 you will want to see that are sure to bring excitement to fans
Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos on 9/17/2017 at 4:25 pm ET

These are two teams that are riding high after opening week victories over division rivals. This is a classic matchup of high powered offense versus stellar defense with a lot to be decided up front. Will Dallas offensive line be able to protect and open holes for star running back Ezekiel Elliot? Denver currently sits as a -2 point favorite. They are 5-2 SU and 4-2-1 against the spread in seven meetings with the Cowboys since 1980. Doesn’t mean much here in 2017 but it is a fun stat to throw around when talking about the number. Look for Denver’s offense to continue to try and run the ball and set up third and short to make things manageable for quarterback Trevor Siemian on third down. This should be a fun game between two teams with postseason aspirations.

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs on 9/17/2017 at 1:00 pm ET

Andy Reid’s old team pays a visit to his new one when the Chiefs host the Eagles. Both teams looked good in week 1 as the Eagles beat up on the Redskins 30-17 and the Chiefs used a huge second half to top the defending champion Patriots 42-27. The Chiefs opened as a -4 point favorite but that line has been bet up to -5.5. Carson Wentz will need another big game against a Chiefs secondary that lost All Pro safety Eric Berry to a knee injury. The Chiefs offense will look to get Travis Kelce more involved after a rather pedestrian effort in week 1. Both teams will look to carry defensive momentum over from the previous week in what will surely be a little bit sentimental for Reid versus his former team.

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons on 9/17/2017 at 8:30 pm ET

The Sunday night game of the week is a rematch of last season’s NFC championship game between the Packers and the Falcons. The Packers will look to avoid a repeat of last years thrashing 44-21. The Packers defense looked sharp last week in a win over the Seahawks and will need to keep up the intensity to slow down Matt Ryan and Julio Jones from the Falcons. In last seasons matchup, Ryan threw for almost 400 yards with 4 touchdowns while Jones hauled in 9 catches for 180 yards. Atlanta opened as a -1 point favorite but has been pushed to -3 as people remember last season’s trouncing. The Falcons come into the game off a win in Chicago over the Bears in a matchup that went down to the last seconds. Bears had the ball first and goal at the 5 but the Falcons defense rose up and kept them out of the endzone to close out the victory. While the Packers are coming off a 17-9 win over the Seahawks where their defense completely dominated the Seahawks offense.

Good slate of matchups overall for week 2 which should make for an entertaining Sunday/Monday combo. Good luck on the weekend and hope all your tickets cash.
