Start of the phonebook type of play with the Angels Astros battling it out for our MLB Expert Pick for tonight. Baseball is rapidly approaching the postseason and glad to see you here at HRWager to celebrate this. This game has meaning for at least one team. Two starters that have gone the course of the entire year. These are the qualifications to launch our Free Pick for maximum stability. Houston is near the -160’s as a ML favorite. Let us together investigate whether the faith that the oddsmakers have in the Astros is warranted here at the HRW!

Angels Astros : Fiers Recovery?!

Starting pitcher for Houston is Fiers. He got blown off the mound two games ago against the Cubs. Carnage was swift in 2 1/3 innings for the tune of seven runs. Mike recovered nicely in the key Mariners game shutting them out over the course of six innings. So his last three starts stats are really skewed. His ERA is higher from last year as he approaches the same amount of innings. On a good note, his run support has been upped to reflect a winning win-loss record for 2016. On the other side, he faces Nolasco who has a sub one WHIP but ERA in the mid threes for his last three games.

Plowhorse

Ricky Nolasco is effective as a plow horse. With the exception of last season, he gets his team near 200 innings per year. Mid four ERAs are pretty standard for him. He consumes innings and is a decent 3rd or 4th starter to defray wear on the better arms. The 8 1/2 total for the game is more about if the Angels can hit Houston. The Astros will get runs off of this starter but probably will not blow him out.

Houston’s recent 5-8 stretch came against premier teams. Now they can revel in having that in their rear view mirror. Against the Angels and Mariners is where they make the money. 21-7 against these two. That cinches it. ML in parlays but not straight wager for the Astros. Runline -1 1/2 +125 is even better for those that want a little aggression in their sports portfolio. Good fortune today and we will see you tomorrow here at HRWager.
