Bubbled in an earlier tourney when my KQ lost to K9. Those are tough but you gotta keep playing poker, because you never know when your next score is right around the corner.

Lost another tourney today when I was low on chips. I went in with A 10 and just had to hold up against J 9 to get to the money. No dice. What's new.

Won a gold card at one of my poker sites today while playing in a ring game. I think I win on average about three gold cards a year. Not a common occurrence for me.

Ordered a tablet today with funds from my poker winnings this year. It will be arriving in 6 more days. It is a Lenovo Yoga 2 10.1" Windows tablet. Ordered it at Best Buy online open box for $209. Has full HD and the battery is supposed to last 10+ hours.

Looked in my junk mail today. Found some good news. I placed 6th in a tournament this past weekend and the site wants to pay me my $18 winnings via Paypal. Okay by me.

Walked 2 miles today at sunset, to Savalot, a grocery store near here. Grabbed me a chocolate pudding pie and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew.
