Now they a Toronto team at 43-37 that are languishing after making the playoffs last year. Even in the face of all of this, the Indians opened as a +101 road dog for the 7PM start. There is a lot of steam on this game. Which side has it and is it too late to hop on the train to valueville tonight? Cleveland at Toronto : Indians Wave Money has been coming in fast and almost all of it has been on Cleveland. No pitching change and the ML went from +101 to -123. This was just overnight and we have all afternoon for it too move some more. For Cleveland, all cylinders have been firing in this streak. Offensive production has come in for the tune of 76 runs. Pitching from the starters to the pen have been pulling their weight as well. 25 runs allowed with the starters getting under two runs in ERA. Now they get to tee off on a knuckleballer. Dickey is only 5-8 and his momentum coming into this one is just as lackluster as we will see. Pitching Matchup At least Dickey gets some free outs with his floater. Surprised to see 13K’s in 17 innings. This is his only bright spot in his last three starts. 1-2 with a WHIP of 1.30 with five walks and a 4.58 ERA. People are seeing the lack of movement on his knuckler as of late and are punishing him. Now take this in contrast to how Cleveland’s Carrasco is doing. 21 to 6 ratio with an under two ERA and a WHIP of 1.12., He has been doing a good job of getting out of his jams and spreading the hits that are falling in against him. What helps Cleveland in this one is that Toronto played in altitude and have to lose time zones coming back home! The pitching plus the travel considerations are fogging up the mirrors in this one. Now Poland is on the rise while Portugal is trying to hold onto their place in the elite of Europe. Which side will get the profit in our bankroll for this match that starts at 3PM on Thursday the 30th? Poland Portugal : Working Hard Portugal has muted the flamboyance and resorted to grinding out wins. To their credit, they did what was necessary to get past Croatia. Portugal will have to focus on their flank defense in this one. Poland has the speed and skill to exploit the edges of the field. Up the gut is where Portugal will have the advantage. Penetrating the Polish defense will be a task. Except for that wild bicycle kick by a Swiss player, the Poles have remained perfect in stopping the ball. Total for this game is only 1/2. Chalk is on the over side at -167/+152. Lewandowski Has to Shine Poland pins their hopes mostly on their defense. They got through against the Swiss on penalty kicks. This was disappointing as Poland was the better team on the pitch and should have closed it out before that stage was necessary. The Bayern Munich player, Robert Lewandowski, has to come through and be the striker we have all seen in the past. Three way line has Portugal at +128 ML with the Draw at +203 and the Poles tagging in at +298 for the win in the 90 minutes plus stoppage time aspect. To advance, Portugal is a -175 favorite here. This is star power and defensive soccer. Can Ronaldo find the fire he had against Hungary? Lewandowski has been dreadful to this point but the Polish defense has been lights out. Last three has seen him get a WHIP of just 0.89. 2.11 ERA has not been hurt by his seven walks. If he keeps them down then St. Louis should win. Astros-Angels : ML Topsy Turvy Angles with Shoemaker on the mound opened up as a very slight home favorite for this one. Number one sign that those new to sports investing should note is to follow the movement of money. Betting on Houston has been sustained enough to now make them the road favorite to the tune of -112. Part of this was that the Astros have monster momentum even after KC snapped their seven game winning streak on Sunday. An additional caveat to this one is that the teams have met six times this year already with the Astros going 5-1 against the team from Anaheim. Almost Equal Pitching Shoemaker is not that much lower than Collin McHugh. What the Angels starter has to contend with is Jose Altuve at the plate. Jose has made it to base in just under 30 games straight. He also has done well historically in the Angels stadium. All but one of his last 17 games there has he at least gotten a hit. .388 batting average means that the Houston offense will have a leg up in this one. Total opened at 8 then dipped to 7 1/2. At this level, the over has become more chalky. Near -115, if one takes the over in the game then it should be done right now before it goes back to 8. Meanwhile, Houston has most of the momentum and intangibles for this one. Altuve stokes the offense each and every night. Iceland is freerolling while the Three Lions fans are clamoring for a win. Manager and star alike feel it. The result will be to go down fighting which is just what Iceland wants. The English flair causes them to be vulnerable in normal times. This situation has it where the +1 -114 appears to be utterly safe for Iceland. The small nation does not have the big leagues like the EPL but they have a care free attitude and dedication to defense that makes them a potent wager here. If Iceland is to advance, bet the three way line at +785 for them to pull off the upset in normal time. We advise for the draw at +284 in the three way line. Also Iceland to advance at +395 is worth your while. Sorry England but you have folded against this type of opponent too many times on a stage such as this.
