We are entering into our CFL Week Eight Preview pumped with excitement. No teams have appeared to have completely pack it in as of yet. Great to see everyone again at HRWager. Tiger Cats fans are in for a treat as their starting QB Tweeted that he is good to go this week. See this, all the other developments, and the current prices for the week in action for the Canadian Football League.

CFL Week Eight Preview : Market Prices

Three days of football with a double header on Saturday to drive the excitement home. Let us look at the offerings we have to speculate on.

    Montreal (2-4) @ Edmonton (2-4) -7 with a total of 51 at 9PM on 8/11
    Winnipeg 3-4 @ Toronto 4-2 -4 and total of 50 starting 7:30 on 8/12

Saturday has a double header starting with Cal (4-1-1) at Sask (1-5) +5 1/2 and a total of 55 for the 7PM game. Closing out the week is Hamilton (3-3) visiting BC (4-2) -3 and a total of 54 1/2 in the 10PM game on 8/13.

    Most Wide Open Game

For those that want polarizing results, the Hamilton game at British Columbia should be the one front and center for your considerations. Zach Collaros used social media today to confirm his return in this one. Most of the QBs this season coming off of injury have struggled. However, they have been much older with Ricky Ray and Henry Burris both being a decade older than Zach. The question that you must answer is if he at 27 has more spring back from injury than these veteran arms had.

Exciting action is here in the CFL. Tomorrow we will have our CFL Free Picks and power rankings. Present the information to make the decisions to lead you to profit. Get those football mental muscles in tune because NFL and college action is almost here. Good fortune today and we will see you next time here at HRWager.

Olympic Golf is starting on the 8/10 with concerns about mosquitoes and giant rodents roaming the course. We hope you are all enjoying these RIO Games from your friends at HRWager. We have the #5 and #6 players in the world in the field but the odds comparing the two are nowhere near the same. So let us celebrate this historic occasion as it has been well over a century since golf has been seen at the Summer Games.

Olympic Golf Free Picks : Bubba and Henrik

Henrik has been the hottest golfer that has made it down to RIO. A horde of high ranked golfers declined to make the trek due to concerns over the Zika Virus. Sad news for Bubba Watson fans as he is in the top ten but it is Sergio Garcia that is getting high regard for championship futures here. The main man from Spain has top fives in the both the US and British Opens. Let us see who is a good heads up investment for this somewhat weak field of 60 golfers here.

    New Golf Course

Par 71 with 7,128 yards with giant Capybaras. These animals are allowed in normal times to live on the course. It will not be a factor in the play but we should get a chuckle or two if we see one roaming in the front group for the players on the tee. Rumor has it that this course invites birdies and has a bit of poison in some tricky traps for high scores on some holes. Justin Rose excels at strokes gained from tee to green. He is embracing his role on team Great Britain. While being in a little slump, he will be pitted against players of lesser talent. Take Justin Rose heads up over the course of the tournament for a profit advantage.

Golf Channel has coverage starting at 6:30 AM on Thursday. They will have the sole coverage over traditional means. NBC will have streaming options also for this event. Who will be on that podium? For a longshot, opt for Emiliano Grillo for a top three and most certainly in heads up options. Enjoy the spectacle of Olympic Golf and we will see you on Friday here at HRWager.

With our first cup of coffee, a scan of the overnight moves reveals some Sharp MLB Line Action for 8/16. Good morning and it is great to see everyone here again at HRWager. Today there have already been some big shifts. Not from pitching changes but in perception of the product to be put on the field. Instances where our oddsmaker might have under or over estimated the chances of one side. SO without any further ado, let us look to where the sharp money has gone this morning here at HRW.

Sharp MLB Line Action : The Tribe

One of the more interesting combined market moves is seen in Cleveland this morning. With Kluber on the mound, the Indians have gone from the low -170’s to be flirting with the -190 ML level right now. Combo move has seen the total stay at 7 1/2 but it become a little more pricey to wager on the under. Both starters have excelled in their last three starts. Consensus is that the White Sox have called it quits in the season when it comes to tough situations like these. Combined with how well the Indians play at home (35-21) makes the ML an easy leg for your parlays today.

    Foreign Fade in Texas

Our other big line move that we witnessed goes on in Texas with Oakland visiting this evening at 8PM. Here the ML has dipped twenty points from the low -170s to the -150’s for the Rangers. Total is sky high at 10 1/2 with the under getting more costly as the market progressed. Here we have the inexperience of the starter of Oakland in Triggs. Another new arm for the A’s to try in this wasted season. However, it is the control problems of the Rangers import pitcher from Korea that causes concern. 9 walks in last three games has ballooned his ERA near six in that stint. While not proclaiming that Oakland will win, the large +160 point that an A’s win could get at one time had the sharps snap it up in a more even game because of the uncertain nature of the Rangers starter here.

Indians at home against a team that is dead in the water has people pegging Cleveland for a win. Texas has arm worries in this game with a starter who is having problems keeping the ball over the plate. Follow the thinking of the sharps, try their plays, and use the logic from this point forward. Good fortune in your wagering and we will see you later on here at HRW.

One of the banner events to RIO 2016 is the Olympic Gold Medal Game in men’s basketball. Today at 2:30PM, we get to see the USA defend the gold against Serbia. Group play almost saw a shocker as this team came close to snapping the States win streak. Alas even in the face of that, the USA are 15 point favorites to repeat once again. Where can we get the profit from this game to close out our successful run in the Olympics?

Olympic Gold Medal Game : Aussies Dominated by Serbs in Semi

Serbia has taken a measure of revenge in RIO. Teams that were upsetting them the last few years in International play have been falling by the wayside. 14 points for the entire half did the Aussies score in the semi finals as the Serbs put the defensive clamps on the team. Offensive rebounds were not to be found by Bogut and company. Now on one of the biggest roles this underachiever has been on, they get another crack at the United States. They have the size and talent to do so on the frontcourt. Can they bog down the US just enough to pull off the near impossible today?

    That Higher Gear

Even in the Spain semifinal for the United States, offensive flow was missing. Six technical fouls early on by the refs stalled the game in the early going. Even in the third quarter, the US was leading just 53-48. Final margain had a lot of emergency points by Spain but the result was never in doubt. However, the sharp really took notice of this. A -18 1/2 opening value has gotten bet down to -15. Lot of concentrated action on the Serbs for this one.

Gold medal round is where the US decides to flex its muscles. Last six times they have won in the neighborhood of 30 points + with the exception of Australia. This team will come out flying. Look for dominance to start right away. Look for a complete performance for once here. USA -15 will line your pocket with green as the US collects another gold today. Good fortune and we will see you tomorrow here at HRW.
