Secondly is that, the running game can turnaround quickly without top tier talent. Look for the Raiders to make the jump here. They just need to spell their starter 10 to 15 percent of the time. He was too tired and coughed up the ball twice against the Bears. Oakland does this and covers against the Chargers this Sunday.

    New Orleans is in need of a floor general to loft lobs up to Anthony Davis. Team is absolutely decimiated with injuries to start the season. They are trying to get Ish Smith from the Sixers. This would be the best of not too many options left for the Pelicans.
    Another ACL for those same Sixers. Robert Covington will escape the surgeon’s blade by only having a sprain in that area. One to three weeks seems like a blessing for this seemingly cursed franchise.

    Boston Blundering Already?!

    One of the franchises that have several considerations to make as in minutes is the Boston Celtics. While few lineups are set in stone, Boston has more flux than the average NBA team. The first point of contention is with Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart. Coaching staff is leaning towards THomas due to his offensive creativity he has shown as of late. Also Zeller and Lee have the highest probability of starting over Olynyk, Sullinger, and Johnson. One thing is for certain. There are not enough balls in Boston right now so fade away on the Celtics until this social expirament sets more firmly.

    Now for the Old Men

    Kobe is back and starts the season against the Timberwolves. Sad situation with Saunders losing his battle for cancer. Young team is going to play out of their mind in memory of him. Meanwhile the most injured man in the league is set to step back on the court. Derrick Rose and the Bulls host the Cavs in one of the season openers. We will see how that eye injury affects him.

Now HRWager will examine the theory of specialists verses a jack of all trades. Essentially, a great part of the Mets success is based on their starting pitching. Let us look at what the practical chances that their arms snap back into shape.

    MLB Review : Harvey’s Thought

    At least the theory of the Mets wearing down seems to be confirmed by Matt Harvey. He indicates that he vastly underestimated the toll that going fro zero innings the year before to the over 200 innings that he has to sling this time around. Only 80 pitches did he toss but from pitch one , he felt that he had to labor through every batter. Now DeGrom was humming along in the early going when suddenly his pitches all went wayward right down the middle of the plate.

    Other Teams Had to Do It

    While pitchers in previous years had to encounter the same trials and tribulations, these Mets have one component that most other editions did not. They throw so many pitches above the 95 mph mark. Almost all of their young arms not only can do this but love to throw a high percentage at this clip. When one feels the normal motion not produce the same pop then you insert extra effort to get there. This is where the location starts to drift more than usual. With such a varied attack that the Royals have, it is almost a foregone conclusion that the series is over.

    Yet again the Mets are near a -140 favorite for Game Three. While the cold weather will hurt the hands more when the bat makes contact, will Syndergaard face the same brownout in power production that his team mates did?     College football free pick seeks to make heads and tails out of the Houston Cougars (7-0). Undefeated and nationally ranker, the Cougars rely mostly on a one dimensional attack to steam roll opponents.     The opening total of 46 was met with laughter and rocketed upwards. No pause as it now stands on 49 1/2 points. So is this the perception that Vandy is not up to the task or that the Commodores can march it up and down. A key in this determination is the spread history. It has gone from +14 to near +12 on Vandy. So it is logical to conclude that the Houston defense will have more problems than predicted in holding their foe back.

    So if Vandy does well, the over is still in play. Do not discount the difficulties of a second tier SEC team will have with Houston. Key is that this game comes in the middle of league play. Nowhere near the time and effort to devote to debunk Houston. Take the over 49 1/2 now as there is still life for our precious profit in it.
