Over at Peeps: Now that Meaty is believing Kinger is going to Vegas... He is sweating :clap2:

Meaty will not give a place & time to meet

Who the fvck posts that he is the #1 capper in the world and expects to have anyone not think he's a low-life scammer?

...or maybe he's playing the Beaner card? (BeanTownJim)

...I get it, this is the WWE...we need Heels...

This is flawed thinking imo. You set a good market price and there are sharps on both sides, ala the stock market.

Bookies in the -110 sense (hopefully) will be a thing of the past (already are for the huge players)

dude, as the market gets sharper, that 4.5% vig becomes a MOUNTAIN. With only sharps, any advantage DISAPPEARS! We need sheep!!!!

You think Vegas would be the monster-in-the-desert if only rational folks bet?

it's the capitalist/Darwinian system, stupid people get eaten

  3. OK, the average punter is NOT hitting 50% wins (remember if you are betting against a -110 line, you need to be hitting ~52.5% to break even). Joe Six-pack is betting overs and favorites and getting shorn to the tune of 47-48% wins long term, that's an extra 2-3 % for the book's hold due to these poor schmucks. When you talk to the guys behind the teller stations (I talked to one guy who claimed to do this), they want to see at least a 5% hold, with 6 & 7% possible when conventions are in town. They get down to 3%, heads roll. This is the big reason they limit or ban sharp bettors...as they see them as being a direct threat to their jobs.

Now, I'd love to hear from someone in the know as verification to this...not from the usual yappy clowns.

Really cool video, great job. I have never been there before, it seems great! Seating, big screens right there. That the thing I hate about LVH is the screens are so far away and the games I have action on are usually not marquee match-ups so they're on the smallest screens. That's why I liked Bill's, decent amount of big screens 15 feet in front you. :bayan:

I love walking past all the suckers playing slots as I head to the sportsbook.

The non-smoking sections in the LVH has closer screens, and fewer fat blobs puffing their lives away...

  5. In the Gambling world...the fish are out there being eaten by the sharks (which are the books) the sharper gamblers are the remora who pick up a scrap or two that the sharks miss. Point is, you need a lot of fish to make the entire ecology work so a few remora can survive.

Don't waste time on the fish...fish will be fish...and we need a lot of fish to make it all work.

  6.

Why not? If you have the money, wont miss it for a few months, and think you have an edge, then I have never understood why people say this.

Now if you have a limited bankroll to gamble with, then I can understand to a point.

...maybe you need to study the financial formula for interest, but again if the win% is negative, long term is best.

  7. why tie up your money for all season?

but on the other hand, if you are really good at this, its probably is better to tie up ALL your money on futures, and not bet the single games during the season and thereby ultimately have a winning season...

...probably the best shot a newbie has, come to think on it...

...but I'm still not posting anything.

  8. Fishy's video thread alone is worth the "price of admission" to this site...

...if you don't upchuck when he is driving and videoing his iPad.

...maybe we can get Fishfood to stick the camera to the windscreen while he drives on two wheels around corners...that'll mess with the weak-dicks posting about it.
