  1. Something is seriously wrong with you to think this is funny.
  2. I appreciate you helping out with the reverse jinx, Diabler. 99% of people wanna see the best team in the country lose, but I see right through you.
  3. Elite defense. UF had a bye basically the week before. "Win one for the muschumper". How bout them Wildcats though!?
  4. If tripp is gonna get any credit for supporting the Kerr hire I want in on it because I've LONG said that Jackson was an idiot and Kerr would and will make a great coach. In today's NBA you only need to be able to coach offense and convince millionaires to play defense for a few minutes at a time in order to end up looking like a genius. Kerr can and is doing that. I do miss him on TNT though.
  5. "Where's the money, Lebowski!?" "It's down there somewhere, let me take another look for it" Fucking love that line.
  6. Damn, Kinger, you've got the fatty over again!? You're gonna end up marrying that chick. Went out and got drunk and had a BLT at the local off-track betting locale in my area. Had a great freaking time, gettin' drunk, rooting on VT, betting the ponies, hitting on the 40 year old hot bartender, and deliberating on who all is gonna win me money tomorrow. Crown for me. Salud, motherfucker.
  7. I would be shocked if the Thunder make the playoffs and KD gets MVP.
  8. They had a chance, but I don't know how anybody can bet this team ML just yet. The market still hasn't hit "bottom" on just how bad they really are. Noel is the only potential long-term NBA'er in the starting lineup and he's very, very unpolished and coming off major injury. Wroten is the athlete that can play in the NBA but will never be a true starter. I know Carter-Williams has impressed at times but I simply do not believe he is a good NBA PG. Eventually they'll be competitive as Noel and Embiid develop, but unfortunately for them this upcoming draft is stocked with big men and they need a shooting guard or strong forward, not another center.
  9. Curry should absolutely be in the conversation. If 'fun-to-watch' played into the conversation he'd run away with it. His game is so smooth and enjoyable that I happily watch Golden State games without having a dollar on them. He can pass, shoot, and drive/kick better than any player in the league, including Lebron. When he comes around a pick the defender *has* to respect his 3 point shooting because he's the best in the league and that allows him to wrap it right around to his big in the lane whenever the defender guards too tight or to dribble penetrate and then try for the layup/get-fouled and/or dish it. If he had a few less turnovers he would be rated even higher but watching him play a turnover or two a game comes from his teammates not even expecting the ball that gets thrown to them from him. He's also obviously a weak defender, and that hurts him on the MVP front (and the reason why I think Lebron and Davis will and are probably more valuable). As an NBA fan though he's simply awesome.
  10. This is absurd. 1. Lebron 2. Davis 3. Griffin 4. Curry That will be your order of finish, and really I'd take Curry over Griffin but the people that vote on this thing love double-doubles.
  11. I'm on Zona -4.5 so you're probably fucked, Diabler. Sorry, pal, college hoops is the worst.
  12. Won't get resolved anytime soon but have to think it's an eventuality we're destined for. More and more people want to gamble and are interested in gambling that it will slowly become more socially acceptable. Considering it works just fine to have betting on every street corner in England and the EPL has blossomed with many sports book sponsors, people who argue against sports gambling will eventually run out of legs to stand on. I think it's mostly older generation people that are opposed to it anyway; today's under-30 crowd would likely vote overwhelmingly in favor of allowing it.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Major losses for both teams, makes it a no-play for me.
  14. Well of course they have more weaknesses, that's been obvious from Day 1. They did lose 13 players to the draft. Good thing 2013 FSU isn't on their schedule though. And considering they are +750 to win it all you're not exactly going out on a limb win that prediction.
  15. UF will almost certainly try a few deep play-action balls as well to try and "get lucky" with both teams knowing and expecting UF's approach going in to be to try and keep the clock running via the run.
  16. Then you're a fucking idiot. But give me FSU at a pick for 1k if you're so confident in your own lines-making/handicapping ability.
  17. Nothing I say holds any water? I provide more information on FSU than anybody on the forum. Just because so many people like you and this geezer Viejo *want* FSU to lose, it doesn't override the fact that they continue to win because of some strengths on this team that are consistently overlooked. Florida State has more wins against Power 5 conference teams with a winning record than ANY other team in football, including Alabama, but nobody talks about that. Did the offensive line struggle through the middle stretch of the season? Absolutely. I identified that the center Hoefield was getting blown up and causing the problems well before any of you other slapdicks recognized that was the issue. Since the switch from Erving to center and RoJo to LT the line has been fine. Against BC, Cook average 5.4 ypc and Williams 4.6. Against Miami, Cook had 13.1 ypc. Jameis has only been sacked once in the last two games as well. Now, Florida *does* have the best defensive line FSU will face (comparable to Clemson's), but if they have success it won't be because FSU's offensive line is bad. If Florida wins, it will be because they have success running the ball against a depleted FSU defensive interior and linebacking corps, play ball control, and limit Jameis' possessions. Know what the fuck you are talking about or shut the fuck up less you look ignorant. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to the X's and O's of FSU and I think you'll find that my posted record on these forums when it comes to betting on or against FSU is pretty good.
  18. Fuck both these guys for waiting this long to do this.
  19. First thing I said after "holy shit" was "I gotta get myself a pair of those gloves".
  20. He writes some very good stuff breaking down the NBA on Bill Simmons' website, Grantland.com. I enjoyed his piece about the Mavs today... http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-art-of-the-wildly-efficient-dallas-mavericks/
  21. You are a better poster than nobody besides Brock and POS69. Annoying little fuckhead.
  22. Freaking MM catches his 10 on the river to catch a higher straight after I flopped it, then next hand my KK-555 full house loses to Coach Taylor's 4 5's. Can't beat bad luck.
