Every since we moved to this forum I have been an absolute idiot in this tournament. Was holding steady at about 3rd in chips most of the night tonight, drifted down to 5th with 12 guys left coming out of 2nd break, and the 2nd fucking hand I try to go over the top all-in with my Q-10 with a 10 being high card on the board. Beat by K-10 and I'm done. I guess that's what I get for trying to win the thing and not just cash, but damn was I stupid.

I spent all game swearing that I didn't pull the trigger on Manhattan +8. When it went to OT I said UMass was going to end up covering the game line, and that last minute went EXACTLY as I predicted prior to it happening. Absolutely brutal beat for anybody on Manhattan and a good free lesson for me on why I need to avoid this stupid sport. Absolutely zero reason for Manhattan to foul down 7 with 3.2 seconds left, but college hoops has the dumbest athletes of any sport we can gamble on and it shows up regularly.

Absolutely crazy deal, but it won't be fully realized as he can opt out in 5 years and you can almost guarantee he will unless he goes completely down the shitter. From an organizational standpoint it's bad business, IMO. No baseball player is worth that much. When a team like the Royals can almost win the World Series and the Marlins have two in the last 10 years without really "trying" in the sense that the Yankees and Red Sox do, it's proof that the sport is dominated by randomness even moreso than most.
