  1. he means the book probably paid $30 or so on each end, so they're breaking even at best on fees
  2. yes you would have 500 limits so you'd have to lose the deposit and the freeplay bets to go bust immediately... but the higher the bet amount the higher the variance, so from the book's point of view the better chance of going busto before meeting the rollover requirements and then getting another bonus... benefit of higher bets is that they potentially get more deposits, but downside being over the long run they are getting less juice and paying more transaction fees than the guy that is just making $50 bets until he goes busto
  3. thank god for here's to mike! that horse is going to get me back on track... if not i hope that fucking nag gets turned to glue
  4. penn national R7 $2 WIN 7 (here's to mike!) penn national R8 $2 WIN 9
  5. the one thing to remember is that by going all-in, someone is working around the rollover requirements. so now maybe he's only making 10,000 worth of bets on 2,000 of freeplay instead of 500
  6. let's take hrwager as an example... player 1 deposits 500, can bet it all. deposits 500, takes freeplay 500 loses deposits 500, takes freeplay 500 loses deposits 500, takes freeplay 500 shoves it all and ends up breaking even from the other 2, loses 200 in juice and withdraws 2200 and hrwager is out the w/d fees. hrwager loses around 750 player 2 deposits 500, can only bet 250... so his juice eventually offsets the freeplay and w/d fee, giving hrwager at least a breakeven proposition
  7. [h=1]3-5 HRWager $50 walmart[/h] Your response has been recorded.
  8. that's never stopped the us government before! estate taxes on money that was already taxed... someone makes 50 million, they pay 20 million in income taxes, then another 15 when they die
  9. jeez 4 straight 2nd place finishes... i think i'm turning into wade, can't catch a break
  10. i wish more people would post how they were doing, no harm in it since there's no strategy involved...
  11. i said what my experience was with them. i am comfortable playing there and having 3000 as a balance, others might feel differently. if i win the costa rica trip and spend some time with owen/zack i'm sure i'll be badmouthed for taking a vacation on stolen funds, just like anyone that attended the last couple sbr bashes was accused of, boat3/ezstreet, etc etc... i only go silent when i don't know the answer to a question, which is pretty often. i know how to send money, make bets, play contests, and sometimes collect money which is pretty much all i care about doing!
  12. if they require a US license then wouldn't there be some kind of wagering tax? something stupid like 1/2% of every transaction? so then that either gets eaten up by the book as part of the juice, or it gets tacked on, either way not good for the customer...
  13. parked on the street for 2 hours for marquette game... parking in the best lot is $20 so i guess they want to charge more than that for parking tickets as a deterrent
  14. all depends on the cops how bad their attitude is... we grow up here thinking the police are there to help you, but usually nothing good comes from dealing with the police
  15. fair grounds R1 $2 WIN 3 fair grounds R6 $2 WIN 1
  16. decent points but i certainly wasn't to blame last night... it was a legal parking space "except" when there's a horse and carriage stand there, which there wasn't last night because there was snow covering it and the guy running carriage rides doesn't work monday-thursday. just like the time i got a ticket for parking within 15 feet of an intersection in madison... there would be no street parking if everyone followed that rule
  17. my dad appealed a parking ticket one time... and while he was tied up in court for more than 2 hours he got another one 20-25 years ago before reciprocity, i could park anywhere i wanted to in chicago as long as it wasn't a tow-away zone. now they work with wisconsin those suckers were expensive, even back then some of chicago's parking tickets were $75
  18. in wisconsin they suspend vehicle registration until you pay it and send it to collections... and if you have 2 or more unpaid they tow your car another irritant is a $2 fee to pay the tickets with a credit card
  19. no if i got a ticket from a camera, i would get another one because i would bash the thing
