  2. Bunch of Playboy collection had to toss, still have about 30 good --- 35th anniversary issue intact, had to toss Anna Nicole Smith. Found BEAT THE DEALER BJ book, no damage. Had some other BLACKJACK writing paper about 15 pages that had no damage. Few old pictures from early Vegas trip. 1st Beckett card magazine with Jordan on cover -- no damage. Bunch of old football magazines from late 80's Writings from horny nursing student I use to sit next to in finance class. Probably a lot more to go through, but been cutting drywall, removing insulation, bought dehumidifier and have rented industrial fan from Home Depot to try and dry carpet.

  9. I'm wondering if that could be related to what happened to me. I have a deck right in that corner and found some empty nut shells on ceiling drywall. I normally catch 10 mice in fall, and there was a bunch of mice turds up there. Last fall I found a dead ground squirrel in basement, and I thought the dog let him in (he opens the screen door by himself).
  10. drywall ceiling and walls in a couple rooms damaged. Carpet is damp in adjoining room. Definitely going to need a lot of drywall work done.
  11. I think that is where it froze. It might have had a slow leak and then just burst. I think it teed around there to go up to kitchen faucet and a toilet. Both weren't getting cold water for 2 days and I had space heaters and heating pad on pipe in kitchen. I kept looking downstairs for water, but didn't see any until it happened overnight.
  12. all kind of wet insulation up there now. This was line for a basement refrig water that I never used in 10 yrs of being here. Previous owner had it put in and it runs right next to outside wall.
  13. Hell no, pipe runs right next to outside wall. Keep it 67-70 deg, but it get colder downstairs, normally 10-15 deg cooler.
  14. Spent 12 hrs cleaning shit from burst pipe downstairs. fuck that -60 deg shit....plumber said all he has done for the last 2 days is repair burst pipes. Midwest version of hurricanes
