In time players or staff on 3-4-5 teams will get it, you just cant have a season with some teams playing and some not. It's hard to imagine you could have a situation where the disease is widespread, for teams to constantly travel from city to city, airport to airport, hotel to hotel, being fed, etc, and not get the virus?

They will fall for sure, there will be a bottom though(hopefully), the problem is the panic, in seattle they're shutting down schools if 1 person even associated with a school has it, well pretty soon every major district will have someone sick, so they're gonna shut them all down, spread that to public events, sporting events, and it'll ripple through everything. i dont think there will be a baseball season, are they going to play baseball in seattle, in SF, etc? i dont see it happening.

I have a question for Joey. You said you were sick earlier in the year after returning from china. We're now getting a better picture of the typical disease progression. Apparently it begins with a sudden fever(102-103), but it will only last a day or so, then you'll feel like you have a cold, maybe mild flu for about a week. Then you get better and think it's gone, but several days later(maybe a week), it comes back, this time as a real flu and people are sick for another week or more, most people then recover but some progress to pneumonia and the bad stuff. is that what happened to you?

The only thing that will stop this virus is herd immunity, when 25-35-45% of the population has had it, the number of infected people will drop drastically. That will happen around the same time a vaccine comes out, a year or so from now(hopefully sooner).
