The Dodgers and Marlins have agreed to a blockbuster deal that will send middle infielder Dee Gordon and veteran right-hander Dan Haren to Miami in exchange for left-hander Andrew Heaney, second baseman Enrique Hernandez, righty reliever Chris Hatcher and catching prospect Austin Barnes. The trade has not been been officially announced by either team, though apparently only some “paperwork†needs to be completed.
Saw Heaney a couple times last season when he came up and honestly wasn't all that impressed. But young and with a live arm so maybe his upside is still pretty high. Some pretty good young players there and Haren doesn't have much left in the tank but Gordon could turn into a legit all star lead off guy.
Also looks like Dodgers have made a deal for Jimmy Rollins as well.
