  9. Cooks has shown some real promise but really has been underutilized it seems even as a rookie. But Pete is right we def need to upgrade over all at WR because 2-3 of the guys including Colston now can't get open and create separation consistently. Defensively its a complete cluster fuck with that group seemingly never being able to get off field on 3rd downs ( and i mean some f'ing monster 3rd and longs even). We need a massive revamping at CB and this season the DL has been terrible getting basically no pass rush all season long. We have to have the worse special teams return game in the league , what do we average per return about 1.3 yards
  10. I think its a great deal for Stanton and not so bad for the Marlins. Shows they at least have some type of commitment to that team and seems there is an opt-out clause in either 2019 or 2020 which is likely used by Stanton if his numbers are still progressing and solid. So may end up being much less then 13 years and if its not his avg yearly salary isn't all that bad considering where contacts will be for top end players by then, seeing he is only 25 he has him prime in front of him as tripp mentioned and not behind him like many of those others getting large contracts. Sure its always a risk to give a guy a 13 year deal but its a better contract then we have seen with others like pujols etc it seems in many ways.
  11. Seeing that Heyward wanted more the Braves were going to invest in him extension wise its not that bad of a deal. They talked about extending him but he wanted what many including Braves felt was too much , solid defensive OFer but his bat really has some along slowly and well i am not sure it will get a whole lot better. Walden looked like he was coming back around last season in stretches so he may end up being a worthy piece here as well for cards. I see alot of baseball people saying Braves could of or should of gotten a lot more but i am not sure the market for Heyward esp only under control for 1 more season and knowing his ball park asking price was all that much better then what they got. Miller could still top out as a solid #2-3 arm and is under team control for an solid time frame and a pretty decent prospect seeming to find his way in Jenkins. .
  12. Its the question everyone around here keeps on asking as well ! :shoot
  13. As a Saints fan for years myself who has attended plenty of games this really does turn my stomach to no end. Just plain pathetic and absolutely ridiculous and the kind of thing you hope a fan of your team never does , but we all know ass holes are everywhere and every team has plenty of them in the stands. We can only hope that this one pathetic fuck doesn't cast a bad light on Saints fans in general and the great experience it can be attending a game down in New Orleans. :shoot If nothing else i am happy that the organization stepped in to try and make it as right as they could. And let me say i hope this fucking See you next Tuesday will never be allowed back at another Saints game.
