President Donald Trump did not wear a face mask — as is recommended by health officials to aid in preventing the spread of COVID-19 — during his tour of a Honeywell factory in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday.

As Trump toured the factory, which is producing N95 masks for the federal government, he and other officials wore safety glasses but did not wear masks. In a clip from Reuters, at one point on the tour, workers blasted Guns N’ Roses’ cover of the James Bond theme song from Wings, “Live and Let Die.” As Trump spoke to a worker that was wearing a mask, he could barely be heard over the din as he asked how many masks were made in a day and the worker’s response is hard to discern. Afterward, Trump gave a thumbs up to the camera. A sign in the factory stated that masks were required in the factory, per CNBC.

Trump, who early into the coronavirus pandemic advised against masks, has refused to wear them despite mounting recommendations from health experts advising everyone to do so. Though he told reporters prior to his factory visit that he would wear a mask if it was mandatory at the factory, a White House official said Honeywell told the White House that masks did not need to be worn, according to CNBC.

In April, Vice President Mike Pence, who is head of the White House’s coronavirus task force, ignored Mayo Clinic’s policy of requiring a face mask. Instead, Pence toured the medical facility and visited patients maskless.

  2. Wendy’s ... where’s the beef?

Stephens analyst James Rutherford said an analysis of online menus for every Wendy’s location nationwide revealed that 1,043 restaurants have listed beef items as out of stock.

The national beef supply is under pressure as meatpacking plants slow production or even shutter temporarily due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Shake Shack said Monday that beef prices are significantly higher.

  3. Good news, the NY times is out with a report that deaths will accelerate rapidly in may to 3000 a day by June 1st - with cases going from 25K a day to  an astonishing 200K a day.

This is rather odd, right when we've reached a peak and are now declining, along with fear, they come out with this? Why would they do that?

That's coming from FatNixon's own administration dummy.

    • An internal Trump administration document predicted that the US's daily coronavirus death toll would almost double over the next month, even as the president has encouraged states to return to business as usual, The New York Times reported on Monday

  4. The Florida governor is a knucklehead.

“Florida is ground zero for the nursing home — we’re God’s waiting room,” DeSantis said Sunday, using an old joke about the number of retirees who flock to his state, WPLG Local 10 reported.

  5. Wrong. More fake news

    Hay here is an idea

Why not take an hour outta your life and do your OWN research.

Then maybe a light bulb will come on once you see that the article is a lie. And then maybe use some critical thinking skills and think "what else am i being lied to about"

    No shade.....bol.....

The company that makes Lysol and Dettol has just issued a statement making it clear that only a lunatic would consider injecting themselves with disinfectant. Company says it is responding to “recent speculation and social media activity”.

    So close.

  6. Motel Manager issuing an executive order stopping immigration tomorrow.  Who the fuk would want to come here right now?  We lead the world in CV cases and unemployment close to 20% soon to go past 30%.  What a joke president but Bone Spur Patriots apparently still love him.

  7. “The U.S. government helped build and fund Wuhan virology labs. The thinking was that it was important for China to get up to par in the global life sciences. It was already a known center of previous outbreaks. Investing there and educating them on international safety standards was just preventative medicine.

Rogin’s reporting suggests that government officials were well aware of the research being conducted in the lab on bat coronaviruses and were worried that the lab still had sub-par safety standards.”

  8. And now for the rest of the story ...

“But on Tuesday, the narrative flipped. It’s no longer a story shared by China bears and President Trump fans. Today, Josh Rogin, who is said to be as plugged into the State Department as any Washington Post columnist, was shown documents dating back to 2015 revealing how the U.S. government was worried about safety standards at that Wuhan lab. In fact, they were worried that one day, one of these experiments — including the one on bat coronaviruses — could escape and become a global nightmare.

In a best case scenario, Rogin’s reveal may ultimately get China to cooperate more in regards to the origins of the virus, setting the table for better drugs to mitigate or even cure the deadly COVID-19. At the very least, for a government that likes to save face, the fact that the U.S. government helped build and fund the Wuhan virology lab in question should be enough for China to open that info vault to scientists at the World Health Organization.”

  9. So why dont they bump up postage rates?

A federal agency, not the Postal Service, decides whether or not postage rates can rise — which hamstrings the service’s ability to fund itself more robustly. (Contrary to popular belief, the Postal Service hasn’t traditionally received taxpayer funding for its operating expenses and pays its way by selling postage and other products and services.) Federal overseers also dictate how many days a week the mail has to be delivered and how many post offices have to remain open.

  10. It was Never the cause of Kap with the Libtards....it was always the ‘burn’

They say they wanted Kap to get a job so bad but really they wanted to see the Right on tilt alert...
