  1. Got to believe Robbin' Robbie has a roll in this mess. He has a long rap sheet of theft and deception going back over a decade. Looks like history repeating with similarities to his earlier scams:

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:10.11.2005

SBRforum poster AK reports that Bet33 (SBR rating F) is a new venture from known sportsbook stiff, Robbie Mcphail. SBR has confirmed this to be true. Robbie, formerly the owner of ApexSportsbook (SBR rating F-), is introducing himself as the General Manager of Bet33 and is now using the name Zach. Players should steer clear of any sportsbook that is using the services of this scam artist.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports08.12.2005

BetOnline (SBR rating D+) using stiff bookmaker Robbie Mcphail and old Apex Sportsbook customer list to solicit new players. Multiple players have complained that Robbie is again dialing for deposits; this time, on behalf of the relatively unknown BetOnline.com. The operation is about one year old and is starting its first marketing campaign. Players should be weary of a sportsbook that chooses to use an individual with a soiled reputation to launch its brand.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:02.18.2005

SBR upgrades PlatinumSportsbets from D- to D after most recent conversation with ownership. PSB states that they have rid themselves of stiff ex-bookmakers, Paul and Robbie M of the Apex scam, and have yet to be the subject of a complaint. SBR has expressed concern about PlatinumSportsbets’ business model and their ability to succeed offering discount lines priced at -105 along with deposit bonuses. PSB is new to the post-up business, yet is aggressively marketing to sharp players via betting forums and plans to join the DonBest premium line service. PSB has experience in the credit business and utilized service provider, Datawager.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:02.15.2005

Robbie McPhail, formerly of Apex (SBR rating F-) recruiting players to join his latest sportsbook, 2betBFL (not rated). 2betBFL functions as a credit operation but Robbie is said to be contacting his former players soliciting post-up deposits. All players should be aware that Robbie still owes many players from the failed Apex.

    Robbie McPhail,12.11.2004

who stiffed players as the owner of the defunct Apex Sportsbook, is using the Apex website to promote his sportsbook affiliates. ApexSportsbook.com features ads for Pinnacle Sports, Hollywood107, Sportingbet, SBGglobal, Cybersportsbook and Mybookie. SBR is asking these sportsbooks to withhold any commission payment to Robbie or to work out an arrangement where the stiffed players can begin to receive payment. SBR will be able to provide a list of players owed. Robbie’s new sportsbook, PlatinumSportsbets (SBR rating F) is also promoted on this site as well as his other sites which include Askthebookie.com.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:09.06.2004

It is confirmed that ownership of the defunct Apex Sportsbook is managing Platinum SportBets (SBR rating F+). The main figure in the Apex disaster, Robbie McPhail, is introducing himself as Platinum SB’s customer service manager. SBR cautions players of this new site, www.4platinumsportsbook.com, and its excessive promotional offers.

SBR Bill Dozer reports: PlatinumSB (SBR rating D-)06.29.2004

employs former owners of now defunct Apex Sportsbook to run internet marketing department. PlatinumSB.com is planning to open to all post up players in mid July dealing -105 lines. They vow to pay all players who were granted an Apex bailout but only after 30 day hold and 3x roll over. SBR expresses concern over post up inexperience and the employment of Apex stiffs.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:06.23.2004

APEX Sportsbook (SBR rating F-) closing its doors. Robbie, the owner, is moving “square" players to PlatinumSB.com where he has a commission loss sheet. He is also applying a rollover to their funds. Robbie also states that he has access to player funds but is using it for other sportsbook marketing endeavors. Larger players will likely not see their funds past any bailout possibilities. Robbie calls this "a career choice" and admits he would not be doing this if players could physically reach him.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:06.23.2004

Apex Sportsbook (SBR rating F-) fails to make 2nd payments on installment plans. Amounts past due range from $250 to $400.

    SBR mail bag:06.11.2004

Player reports BetOnSports (SBR rating D+) that he is being slow-paid for $750, SportsInteraction (SBR rating D-) asking player to send in his Western Union deposit receipt from January 2003, before they will process his payout. Complaints from Gold Palace (SBR rating F-) Internet1x2 (SBR rating F) Apex (SBR rating F+) and BetCSI (SBR rating D-) also continue to pour in.

    SBR Bill Dozer reports:06.08.2004

Players request that SBR monitor Apex Sportsbook (SBR rating F+) payment plan. SBR contacts Apex who agreed to provide disclosure of balances and payment plans to SBR for all players that request that SBR monitor payment plan. If you are owed money by Apex and would like SBR to monitor your payout plan write to Bill Dozer at [email protected].

    SBR rates Apex Sportsbook:06.04.2004

    - Robbie from Apex Sportsbook (SBR Rating F+) has presented documentation with the figures of his total turnover and percentages of hold. SBR believes this is a book that has been encouraging sharp action as of late and it seems obvious they do not have the ability to handle this type of action. The latest marketing moves are aimed to amend this severe leak of revenue. As of today, Robbie form Apex has stated his operation owes $100,000 to a group of 20-25 sharp players. He has further stated that all these outstanding balances will be paid out in 2 weeks. SBR to re-evaluate Apex situation in 2 weeks.

  2. I understand why you're being told this, but it's not that hard to connect the dots to Griffin and 1Vice. The guy posted that he dealt with both Griffin and Tommy. He posted his complaint in a 1-Vice thread, and SBR promised to get back to him after 1-Vice responds. Sounds to me like 1V

    is involved.

  3. I've never heard of topgunsports.eu

Exactly, and that's the point.  1 Vice moves its big winners, like this  guy with a 5 figure balance,  over to their obscure VIP site Topgunssports.  That way they can distance themselves from  the slow pay/ no pay complaints from clients owed larger amounts.  Just another dirty tactic used by Stiffin' Griffin and Robbin' Robbie.

  4. My guess and its site not under an umbrella.

They are not using ab pph.

My guess....... ab had no knowledge of this.

    That's 100 percent a guess.

I have reached out to multiple parties with pertanent questions.

I have gotten a response as of yet

If I read the post correctly, 1V moved him over to this portal as a "VIP". So now they can screw over on payment because it's now a 3rd party?

  5. Just saw this post at SBR:

"I am having issues being paid out. I deal with Griffin and Tommy, cleared my bonus, requested a payout and Tommy, who I mainly deal with now is giving me the run around. I have won a ton of money from their site, requested 5 figure payouts, and haven't seen a dime. They are now limiting my action now that I have been winning. When I was losing initially, they would respond immediately. Now, can't get a hold of them at all.

I didn't want to have to post this on here, but I cannot hold off any longer. I was supposed to be paid out over 14 days ago and haven't received anything. Thoughts on how to be paid anyone? Their customer service on Topgunsports.eu doesn't even pick up the phone. Seems super shady now. (BTW, this is the portal they moved me over to since I was such a VIP)... great VIP treatment. I would refer everyone to their site if they paid out, but unfortunately, have to go the opposite route for now."

  6. Sent me a check two months ago that has not cleared. No more. I'm going to play Bitcoin now so I know I will be paid and want to know the best books for this method

Did the check bounce?  Is the issue with your bank? The reason I ask is because I get Canadian checks from Heritage and Bookmaker that always clear in a day or two. Agree with you that Bitcoin is the way to go now.

  7. What a joke that TGF sounds the alarms about 5D, but ignores the more serious 1-Vice issue.  Pretty sure 5D will be around a year from now,but not so sure about 1V.  SBR had its blind spot with BetIslands and the same can be said about the TGF/1Vice relationship.  TGF's time would be better spent telling it's posters to avoid the Stiffin Griffin/ Robbin' Robbie fiasco than advising us to get out of 5-Dimes.

  8. on your first bitcoin transaction

    $300 max. 20x roll. freeplay

big roll but very rare the past few years to get more than a 20% bonus from bookmaker

It's actually 20x on the deposit only, so basically just 10x overall.  Your rollover is $6000 which is easy to do at Bookmaker,  I wouldn't hesitate to take that offer--congrats.

  9. got both a text and an email even though i haven't played there in over a year. Griffin is obviously desperate for deposits. He is now trying to sucker people in with his bracket tourney. They will never get another penny from me.

Got the same email today, despite repeatedly asking to be taken off their mailings:
