    Lower because they're more service-based jobs. Many of the jobs from the rust belt went to Southern Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. Only way jobs come back to the RB is to be more competitive. Detroit area just got a big Amazon distribution center this week, curious to see what those jobs pay.

    Come on Barman, where is your common sense? They move south to take advantage of cheaper labor. The waters in Florida are that much nicer than Massachusetts to import goods?

    Do they go to Florida for the easier access to international business traffic or because they hate the cold?

    Retirees move to those spots because it's nicer and nothing to do with international business traffic.

    Sorry, been a long weekend. Like I answered above, globalization in a trade sense is good. Total open borders where noncitizens come and go freely, not a fan. Absolutely not a fan of sanctuary cities either.

    Well in a trade perspective, of course you would want it. Now globalization in an open-border policy, meh, not so much.

    Nah, actually laughing. Canada is a very progressive nation. Are they longing for globalization? Are the people for globalization celebrating Independence Day or are they shamed with white guilt and are going to help illegals instead?

    Quality of life - no way. Weed is for losers. Diversity is for libs, SD has diversity also. Opportunity, debatably outside of the computer industry. Like SD's climate better, as good as it gets. Beer, debatable. Not sure it's better than beer here actually.

    I would visit SF before NYC.

    Because I'm not a big fan of SF. personally I think Chicago, LA, Boston, SD, and Vegas are better for what I like.
