With 4-5 games remaining in the season, I often stated a big 12 had little to no chance of making the playoffs last season, due in some part to having no title conference game.

And that's the rub. The Big 12 actually does it right (by playing every conference team). The other conferences are rewarded for greed . Teams playing for a chance at the BCS championship by NOT playing the good teams and only having to win a conference championship game.

......I can see no less than ten teams that have a shot at making the title game, IOWA certainly one of them, extremely talented team.

At this time last season, tcu was 3rd, won out, and was shutout of the playoffs.

Really like Stanford, Navy, Toledo.

As a ND fan, I don't think they have a strong enough resume vs a Big 12 team that runs the table. The Stanford loss hurt.

Because of HF. I think there is some value on BG as people know about much more about Toledo. This is a huge rivalry in the MAC, the schools are only 20-25 minutes apart. BG impressed me going to WM and beating them pretty handily last week. Over is probably the best play here.
