I thought northeastern figured things out in the second half yesterday and shook off the rust, but they looked like a team tonight that had been decimated by covid (like they were this year). Only reason they didn't lose by 20+ is telfort going off Only fitting with how bad this conference has become that two teams with losing conference records meet in the finals

Good luck. I think Hofstras a rough matchup for elon (like JMU), but I was wrong yesterday. I don't think elon has an answer for Kante and the quick guards from hofstra will give them trouble

Hofstra has been spoiled by having elite level mid major point guards for at least six years (Buie, JWF, Juanya Green). Ray is good, but he isn't at the level of those three. Still, they have the best big in the CAA and are more than capable of winning the terrible CAA.

Yeah, sadly that's the State of affairs for the CAA. It's sad how the conference has fallen off the face of this Earth... I actually think Drexel has good value, as they have a good point guard, a good center, and solid shooters at the other positions

Yeah, elon has good value, especially because they are one of the few teams that have actually played all their games the past month or so. The caa tourney has usually been chalky as to who wins it. It's almost always a one, two, or three seed, which makes it tough to bet long shots

Yeah, I have always thought that Hofstras coach (mihalich) was not very good, but has been bailed out by borderline NBA talent/high end European PGs the past six or seven years. He doesn't have that luxury this year and is getting outcoached. That being said, getting blown out by a Delaware team without their best player and their starting point guard pretty much playing on one ankle is embarrassing

Man, what an embarrassing beat down Hofstra got from Delaware... I'm not sure if that blown 20 point halftime lead against northeastern broke them, but they have looked terrible the past two and a half games. 0-1, -2.2 Season: 5-3-1, +4.0

Honestly more of a play against Delaware. They have looked bad this season, even when they were at full strength

Not sure if anyone exists in this forum still, but I can talk to myself for another weekend. Friday play Hofstra -3.5 - 2.2 to win 2 - too many injuries for Delaware. Anderson still won't play and Allen will be playing through an injury. Hofstra has been terrible ATS so far in CAA play, but getting a weak Delaware team short handed is the recipe to fix that
