  1. Anderson definitely better as a pass protector than Booker. I'm looking pretty hard at San Diego +5.5 right now. Anyone think that gets to +6?
  2. Lame. When you join a league, either commit to the season through thick and thin, or don't join at all.
  3. I'm seeing a lot of mixed reports right now about this right now. Someone from the Broncos org just denied that it was season-ending. Injury, yes. Season-ending, not certain. Doesn't bode well, though.
  4. grrr...my bet was an anti-Geno bet and I am not at all pleased to see Fitzpatrick in the game.
  5. Sorry: wrong thread. Meant to put this in the NFL thread.
  6. Yeah, I'm always trepidatious with Thursday night games. Last year they all went over, but this year has been awful. I didn't realize till after I posted that a bunch of guys had already jumped in to back me up.
  7. He's thrown for 300+ yards in all the games he's started this season. GB has a good run D, but lousy Pass D. He's a poor real life QB, but a decent fantasy QB. I don't mind streaming QBs based on match-up. Not a ton on the waiver wire. I've won all the games I've started him. Till now.
  8. You're probably right about letting people veto, but it's typically not a problem. This particular situation arose because one person claimed to have made a mistake and is asking if there is anything that can be done. I tend to feel the same way about letting trades stand as long as collusion is not involved. The Eliot situation is one where I actually suspect collusion is involved to some extent (or at least plenty of one on one "advice giving," since the parties involved work together) but I have no way of knowing for sure. No one knows the dude who is giving up Eliot except for my bro in law, so I'm not really sure what's going on. It's also a keepers league, so a trade of this nature has repercussions for years.
  9. The league is set up so that the commissioner (me) is NOT allowed to go in and veto/nullify a trade offer. The league votes on an accepted trade and if over 50% says "no," then the trade does not go through. This setting is chosen at the beginning of the season. The parties involved have as much time as they wish to think over a trade, but once they accept, I don't know if one party can renege. The people involved in the trade can take a look on their team page and see what their options are.
  10. I know I'm in the minority, but I truly like the state of modern sports. And I've been around awhile!
  11. I was really looking forward to this game. Florida D is formidable. We would have learned a lot about the new-look LSU offense.
  12. I'm in a (different) league where the following trade was just accepted: Stefon Diggs and Delanie Walker for Ezekiel Elliot. That's messed up, don't you think? The trouble is, the person getting Elliot is both my-brother-in-law and, even worse, the commissioner of the league. The other guy is some dude I've never met who happens to be a co-worker of my bro in law. I've already registered displeasure, but will probably let it go to preserve family harmony. But I'm not happy about it. oh, and btw, the guy dealing Elliot is in no way loaded with good players
  13. Not sure why you're having issues? I just looked at the rules and it says that if over half the league votes "no," the trade is nullified.
  14. hahaha...it's America: exercise your right to vote! Practice up for Election Day!
  15. If you don't like the trade, go to the league homepage, look for "view trades" and you can vote yes or no.
