iowa game has been sold out for a couple of days. big game for iowa... home game with purdue and then road trip @ maryland coming up. iowa needs to start strong and not come out like they did vs nebraska in last home game.

concerned about the iowa pass rush... basically none the last 2 games vs minny and purdue; i don't like the idea of giving armstrong time to sit in the pocket. the rush defense for iowa has not been that good the last 2 games either at +3 hard not to play nebby... playing for a bowl game and more importantly for them (imo) they would rather knock iowa out of playoff talk. but it is at iowa -1 now... so at that price i would pass. but i am on the over 58.

iowa got knocked out last year vs minny.... so only getting slapped silly this year would be an improvement ha ha i still argue that canzeri is not as good as a healthy wadley (got hurt vs indiana) or daniels (started season as RB1 until got injured... just now starting to get and look healthy). iowa rb next year should be very good... and i don't think the OL will lose that much at center when the replace Blythe with James Daniels. also to note - at kinnick stadium starting at 11am is the wrestling match vs ok st i believe (yes, it will be outside if weather is fine)... 32k tickets sold last i saw. -

ellingson will be fighting for playing time with andrew flemming. flemming will get majority of minutes eventually i think over ellingson but both players will struggle on defensive end i think. this weekend - i'd wait till halftime to see what the score is for the iowa/indiana game. i think iowa running game can take over in the 2nd half and wear out hoosier defense. wadley and a healthy daniels (and mitchell) should be a great combination next year. canzeri supposed to be back this week but wadley is the better back but has just had too many fumbling issues in the past. -
