Can’t taste anything because of Covid or did she take the Paxlovid? I haven’t lost taste or smell…just had metallic taste for the day after I took single Paxlovid dose, which I guess is normal, but awful.

I’m not worrying, just curious. Yeah that’s why I stopped with the Paxlovid. Fear of rebound. I did feel much better after just a single dose, but no way to know if that’s the reason. Plus it tastes nasty.

Yeah, I didn’t trust the hospital, so I took a hime test same day and was also positive. I knew a girl who took home test same day, one positive, one negative, I would’ve thought if I had a weekend immune system I would’ve gotten the Covid long time ago. The many times I was surrounded by people who had it and they never got it. Probably never know. In any case. I have it now and it sucks. I took one dose of the Paxlovid. Did feel much better the next day, but made me nauseous and gave me metallic taste in mouth,so I stopped. Wish I could muscle up and get thru it, but I don’t know much about it, and I’m sure you guys have plenty of bad things to report.

I’ve tested a number of times…always negative….a year ago Christmas, my bf had it bad, and while I was badly sick at the same time , never tested positive. (He totally unvaxxed, me original two) and never occurred to me this was COVID. This is like no cold or flu I’ve ever had. Although way more tolerable since headache has subsided. I also thought I had it March 2020 after returning from Cali, but by time I thought to check, they couldn’t determine if that’s what it was. Anyway, I figured between what I thought was immunity, and then initial boosters I was safe since I never did get it…this was a definite surprise. Now all the people I was around Sunday are sick. Tremendous.

In October you posted you had it? You just never tested to see if it was it for sure I guess per above. I’ve now had it, Bateman, you (probably), Yanks, who else HAS had it? I know of at least a couple more here.
