  1. That part is tricky. Some Favs can be value; you just have to pay for them: * DJohnson hasn't lost in 6years.
  2. Does anyone clean up on UFC over time? I offer up this question for a few reasons. It's a sport that has gotten very popular. Since it's a pugilist sport, it's more attached to the common-man who could never imagine being a pro athlete in Football/Basketball/Baseball. UFC tends to generate some very strong opinions. But is the line beatable? So often, I hear opinions that have these events played out mentally. But it can't be that ez to beat. I have to believe these #s have sharpened up over time. And that doesn't even touch on the often dubious judging.
  3. Swear to god I was going to guess Violent Femmes. Most logical guess, based on awesome band that rates as most popular to come out of Milwaukee in L30 years.
  4. Mach, I'm sure I spoke w/ u at some point. Forgive me for not recalling the specifics. So many msg-boards, so many posters...sometimes it's all a blur.
  5. 1. Philadelphia Eagles ...Does make u wonder. If the Eagles OffLine was their top UNIT, does explain Wentz/Foles looking almost inter-changable.
  6. Center: Maurkice Pouncey, 54.6 ...Don't really buy this rating. I believe he was playing thru injury last year.
  7. Very interesting. Not sure how they came up w/ these precise calculations. A lot of game-tape, I guess. One that caught my eye. GBay center Linsley has a pretty low grade. I think the Packer FANS would rate him a good bit higher than that. I don't think Linsley is a turnstile at all. But I will say that he was fortunate to get his job. He got the job during training camp, when Tretter was injured. Tretter never got the job back and later moved on to CLEV. I always thought Tretter was the more athletic player and would have been better if he had stayed in GBay.
  8. That's too bad, mike. Was a nice place. I'll talk to u next time I make it to town.
  9. One travel tip. If u can ever get in the Exit lanes, do it. Very nice to get the extra leg-room. And if you're on a long flight where u think u might be tired, think about up-grading to 1st-class. It's so worth it, to stretch out.
  10. Interesting, re: the plane. I'll keep my eye out for that one. Love a good airplane.
  11. Hello, Undertaker. No offense...but I hope to NOT be meeting u any time soon (given your line of work).
  12. A Vegas local can speak to this, but there used to be a pretty nice racket on scouring the floor for discarded winning tickets. Start w/ one basic stat: * Have heard that a full 1% of winning tickets go un-cashed in Vegas. If that # is wrong, please correct me. Think about it. Tourists have a lot on their mind. How ez is it to forget about that $10 ticket in your wallet? What games are worth scouring the floor for? A few situations come to mind: 1) Disputed late score. If there's any buzzer-beater, it's possible that a final score is posted and later reversed. Some may think it's a loss and discard ticket. 2) The 2nd one used to be a gold-mine (supposedly). It was the Vegas Teaser. If you've ever played a Parlay, u know that a Tie keeps the ticket live but drops it down one payout level. What about the two-team teaser? Follow the above logic. Win/Tie on two-team teaser drops payout down to one leg. Well, there is no one-team teaser, so payout = Refund. The one that was unique to Vegas was the Tie/Loss on a two-team teaser. Tie drops ticket down to one-team teaser. There is no one-team teaser, so that's a Refund! Doesn't matter if 2nd leg wins or loses. It's still a Refund. My understanding is that not too many people understood this rule. So any Loss/Tie teaser ticket was often discarded. The Vegas scavengers would know this and ruffle thru the tickets on the floor. If you believe the stories, some locals discovered enough found $$ to pay their rent by doing this.
  13. That's what I think, too, Guesser. That's the part about the 4.5Million votes that amazes me. Gary mis-spoke on issues. Gary wasn't a strong candidate, by any measure. If they Libertarian candidate is stronger, he really might carry home-state soon. Wasn't long ago that Wayne Root was talking about 1Million Libertarian votes, and Libertarians blew thru that L2 elections.
  14. Haha. What a welcome back. Is there any wonder why I'm trying to spend less time on forums? Short answer, No. I don't. I'm into girls.
  15. I'm not very political, but have to say I'm intrigued by the Libertarians. The trend-line on Libertarians is going up. Johnson almost quadrupled # of votes in 2016 election (vs 2012). Johnson carried 9.34% in New Mexico. I really think we're one or two elections from Libertarian presidential candidate carrying his home-state.
  16. Logged in. Wanted to give a shout-out to posters Fish-head, LVHerbie, and BobbyFK. Thx again to Mr Big for covering the meal cost. Was fun to share a few stories w/ Bobby + company. I'll see you guys again next time I'm out there.
  17. It's a nice goal, Wade. Compound-interest is a beautiful thing.
  18. nOLF is a beast. Holy shit. Tech-falled him on one leg.
  19. Wow, Wilson gives great effort. Gross counters and scores Fall in OT.
