  1. I have cincinnatti as well let's get this!

  3. …is the greatest fucking album in all history
  4. This year I'd probably agree with you, but that doesn't change the fact that the pac 12 even in a somewhat down year is still infinitely better than the MWC and AAC For example…Gonzaga. The zags are a good team, and they usually try and schedule some tough non-conf opponents. Many times they beat those opponents, and people who sympathize with small schools always scream "See! Gonzaga can play at an elite level!!!". The problem is that a team getting "up" for one of 1-2 big time games a year doesn't mean they'd be able to go through a grueling pac 12/acc/big 12/B1G schedule with the same results. Not saying that if Gonzaga were in the pac 12 they'd suddenly be a bad team. They wouldn't. But they would have 7-9 losses and be a 5 seed as opposed to having 1 or 2 losses and being a 2 seed. Try telling me Gonzaga would be a 1 loss team if they had to play the likes of Arizona, UCLA, Utah, Oregon etc twice a year as opposed to Pepperdine, Portland and USF. Please. Just try. Even the "garbage teams" as you call them are still tough…you DO realize that going on the the road and playing the likes of an ASU or Washington is way way way way way harder than going on the road and playing the likes of USD and St. Mary's…RIGHT? What if they were in the ACC and had to play Duke, Carolina, Louisville, Syracuse and ND twice a year? LOL, come on man I'm surprised at those here who are having such trouble grasping this very simple concept.
  5. No, MM, I was not implying we beat "20 good teams". I WAS implying that UCLA notched 20 wins with a SIGNIFICANTLY harder schedule than both Temple and CSU. My point is that notching 20 wins with UCLA's schedule is harder than notching 23 wins with Temple's schedule. My other main point had to do with conference records. UCLA's 11-7 Pac 12 record is more impressive than Temple's 13-5 AAC record. Fact. UCLA's 11-7 Pac 12 record is more impressive than CSU's 13-5 MWC record. Fact. The reason the argument is over is because my view is the same view shared by the only people whose view actually matters: the selection committee. You do agree that an 11-7 record in the Pac 12 is more impressive than a 13-5 record in the MWC or AAC…RIGHT?
  6. Really dumb post dude. UCLA went 11-7 in the Pac 12 (RPI 29) Temple and CSU went 13-5 in the AAC and MWC (RPI 60, RPI 118) respectively Argument over.
  7. Bubble team and one of the last to get in? Yes. I never said they were a shoe in. They were a flat out bubble team, as was Texas. But you can't put a team like say, Temple, in ahead of the Bruins and Longhorns unless they CLEARLY have a better season and are CLEARLY a better team. Temple is not CLEARLY a better team than either UCLA or Texas, and many, including myself, would say both Texas and UCLA are a better team. But thats just my opinion…so lets look at the hard numbers... Temple went 13-5 in the pathetic AAC and had an overall record of 23-10 UCLA went 11-7 in the Pac 12 and had an overall record of 20-13 Now, NOT EVEN TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THAT UCLA's SCHEDULE WAS MUCH MUCH MMMUUUCCCHHHH HARDER THAN TEMPLE's, anyone who were to look at the above FACTS and come to the determination that temple deserved to be in over UCLA should be put on heavy medication. Same story with Colorado state. CSU 13-5 in the fuckin MWC UCLA 11-7 in the Pac 12 If one of these schools is going to get in over a UCLA or Indiana or texas, they need to have CLEARLY had a better season. Not only did they not have a CLEARLY better season, they didn't have a better season period. Going 11-7 in the Pac 12 is harder…much harder…then going 13-5 in both the AAC and MWC. Just a fact. If Temple and CSU are losing 5 AAC and MWC games, respectively, how many games would they lose in the Pac 12? By its own lofty standards, the Pac 12 had a bit of a down year this year…but it is still HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the MWC and AAC. Let's take it a step further…if fuckin Temple or CSU played in the best conference in America this season, the Big 12, they wouldn't even be .500 conf record
  8. UCLA and Indiana, two teams that practically invented College Basketball, don't deserve to go to THE DANCE despite notching 20+ wins in power conferences, but Temple from the JOKE AAC does deserve to go. LOL ok. Pass that joint, Lunardi. I want a hit f whatever you're smoking pal bc it must be some really good shit. Props to the selection committee. Difficult, thankless task they have and they got it mostly right this year
  9. Also why schools like Gonzaga and Wichita State should NEVER, EVER get 1 seeds, not even if they go undefeated. They simply do not play the quality of schedule the big time schools are forced to play. If Wichita State or Gonzaga played in the ACC, Big 12, Pac 12, B1G, or even the big east they would have AT LEAST 7 losses per year and that is a fact. UofA only having 3 losses is so much more impressive than Gonzaga only having 1 loss it isn't even funny Fucking lunardi said THIS MORNING that Temple…fucking Temple…a team with a medicore/shitty record playing a joke AAC schedule...deserved bids over UCLA and Indiana. The fact the guy is getting paid by ESPN is crazy.
  10. The selection committee did a great job this year. Big name schools like UCLA, Indiana, and Texas go through GRUELING schedules and still manage to get 20 wins, and guys like lunardi still want to exclude them for the small schools that rack up 23-25 wins playing against glorified high school competition all year. He had both UCLA and Indiana firmly OUT and had Texas in first 4 out/last 4 in borderline for the last month. Committee puts ALL 3 IN to mortify lunardi and I salute the committee for doing so. I'm sorry but 20-21 wins in the Big 12, Pac 12 and B1G is a lot more impressive than 23 wins in the AAC, WCC, etc. It just is and anybody that says otherwise is wrong. Texas- toughest schedule in the country, still manage 20 wins…Lunardi says they don't belong, but if they manage to sneak in they should be forced to play a play-in game. No, Joe, they don't. He's an idiot and the committee got it right by granting the LONGHORNS an outright bid as an 11 seed. UCLA- vast improvement and clearly showed throughout 2nd half of season they are the second best team in the Pac 12 to notch 20 wins. Was leading UofA late in game yesterday before giving it away. Lunardi on sports center this morning says "The Bruins simply don't deserve an NCAA bid this year…they didn't do enough." He's an idiot. Committee further humiliates Lunardi by not only giving the Bruins an invite to THE DANCE, but not even making them play a play-in game. The committee got it right. Indiana- Lunardi states several smaller schools who deserve to be in the dance ahead of Indiana, schools who would have LOSING RECORDS had they played a B1G schedule, whereas the Hoosiers DID play a B1G schedule and managed 20 wins. Lunardi brutalized again I love it. Lunardi this isn't little league, pal. This is big time college hoops. Notching 20+ wins in any of these 3 conferences is MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE AND DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE than notching 23 wins in the midwest catholic high school league. Lunardi is an idiot and the committee got it right. The committee did a very, very good job this year IMO. Refreshing to see the people making the decisions behind closed doors recognize the difficulty of playing these major conference schedules and aren't swayed by the talking head "experts" on tv.
  11. Tied 27-27 @ halftime A back and forth affair in the Vegas desert between the Bruins and the Cats...
  12. Baseball is back! Lengthy ban lifted! Pretty simple for the Bruins, win and they are in or lose and they are out. Simple as that I am taking UCLA +11
