No my analogy is spot on. Cheating would be stealing the other teams play book or videotaping their practices or paying a coach or player on other team to reveal team secrets or signs. Letting a a few millipounds of air pressure out of a football is not "cheating".
If they had let a lot of air out of the balls to where you could squish the ball, that would be different. But there was just slightly less than required which is no big deal, I'm sure lots of teams do it to an extent. Just like in baseball pine tar is only a big deal when the guy has a huge glib of it and it's obvious, if he is just using a little than nobody cares because the other team probably uses a little to.
