spot on. Its a business. Make Mr. Allen open his wallet and pay Kam what he is worth. He has to look out for his family and his future. All it takes is one play and his career could be over. Once his contract is up the Seahawks will probably say "Well Kam's best years are probably behind him" lets release him and draft a new guy.

If I were Kam i would say pay me, trade me or I aint playing all season. And hell sitting out the whole year wouldnt be so bad for Kam. His body and mind could probably use the rest and rejuvenation. Many players retire early ( Patrick Willis + Jordan Gross) or get hurt and lose a whole season anyway so if you sit out while healthy then you will be even more ready for next season. If the Seahawks lose many more games this season is a wash anyway.

i dont see how you can blame him... what if he gets hurt? If you are going to pay that choke artist QB you better pay the man who actually dominates at his position. If not trade him to a team that will appreciate him.

Jimmy Clausen was once upset and offended that he was not drafted in the 1st round. In fact he wore the #2 in Carolina to remind him of what round he was drafted in. Cam initially wanted #2 his college number but then changed his mind saying I think #1 is a good fit for me b/c i am the #1 QB on the depth chart. Anyways Jimmy in his opportunity he was given as a starter made an absolute mockery of the game of football not only embarrasing himself but his teammates and all fans that had to put up with his lack luster non entertaining performance that he displayed on the field. This game could be the biggest beat down in the history of NFL games. John Fox and Jimmy Clausen is a bad combo. If Fox couldnt win with all that talent he had to work with in Denver he is really in for a terrible season this year. I love seeing John Fox lose though so I am excited for this season.

As far as the games this thread is about I am thinking of maybe parlaying Bama and Clemson ML in a parlay

King Kolzig, not to get off subject but Ohio State will start crushing opponents whenever they decide to start playing hard. They all know with the schedule they have they could all show up drunk and still run the table. Urban Has to find some way to motivate this team. Maybe he should tell them that winning is not enough. That they must cover the point spread in every game and if they don't cover it then (insert whatever punishment will make them motivated to cover) Maybe if they dont cover they all have to run sprints after every practice the following week for 1 hour straight. Or maybe if they dont cover he could make them practice twice a day or remove buckeye decals from their helmets.

It would be hilarious if this back up QB for the Saints comes in and just lights it up and steals Drew Brees job out from underneath him the same way Tom Brady stole Drew Bledsoe's job. Especially after that direct tv commericail saying "if i'm ever given a chance"

i can't blame Kam Chancelor for holding out. The dude who owns the Seahawks is Bill Gates partner right? Isn't he worth billions? Kam Chancelor is the best in the World at his job and deserves to get paid like it. I know you never heard Michael Jordan and Larry Bird complaining about their contracts but that is b/c they made so much money off of endorsement deals. Kam Chancelor doesn't play QB and Richard Sherman has a bigger mouth so he takes all the attention away from the other Seahawk defenders but the fact of the matter is Kam Chancelor is every bit as good of a safety as Richard Sherman is a corner. BAM BAM KAM ain't no joke. more power to him for holding out. What happens if he gets injured? He needs an insurance policy for his family and for all the work he has put into his career. PAY THE MAN or keep losing Seahawks it's your choice. Your defense aint shit without Bam Bam Kam.

i was leaning over before I heard about the Brees injury too and I never play totals. People are saying how bad the Panthers offense is but I think they are about to start clicking on all cylinders. The Jaguars and Texans both have very good defenses. The Saints defense is PISS POOR. The Panthers will have zero trouble scoring Touchdowns against the Saints. On the contrary I know the Panthers have the #1 or #2 Defense in the NFL right now only allowing an average of 13 points a game but lets face it.... while the Jaguars and Texans both have very good defenses they are both pretty damn weak on offense. So I was thinking if the Saints had Drew Brees they might be able to score 20 points or more against the Panthers especially if Luke Keuchly and Star Lotuleilei is still out.

So this weeks college card looks like shit and I dont see anything worth watching or worth betting... Maybe Auburn ML over Miss. State? I always eat the points and play ML if the spread is 3 or less... Nothing worse than having the team you bet on win by 2 points or 1 point and you lose your bet as you watch the team you bet on celebrate... Anyway I know Auburn has looked awful lately but they are at home and we should see their best effort in this spot. But looking ahead to 2 weeks from now what do you guys think about Bama@ UGA and ND @ Clemson? I want to hear everybodies opinions on these games (who is going to win and why do you think so?)

don't beat yourself up man baseball is really getting to be unpredictable right now. Who would have thought the Royals would start playing so poorly too? I am done with baseball until the playoffs. Football is much more predictable.
