At some truck stop on 1-40 west of Albuquerque I found these gyro rollers that were amazing but can't remember where. Shame Broke is a in hiding deadbeat as I'm sure he near complete knowledge of all the top roller grill novelty products throughout most of the continental US.

Satellited in into the main of the hpt in Black Hawk ($1650) so hoping to “get stuck” up here a couple more days and skip Cripple Creek. I.e. will probably be there tonight. ;)

Stuff below (all very important...) was left out of the above so bare with me as I catch up... I got to Venetian late as fukk so decided to stay one of my nights. After dinner with my runner and wasting a few hours in the room I went to bed about 3 so opted not set alarm to catch up on sleep. The next day I didn't get up till early afternoon so just grabbed fp on $10 machines (as everything below it at Venetian is basically like playing with live land mines) and keep $300. I checked out all the high variance shit to try and derive some coin-in but found nothing so I left. Yesterday I ran the tank down to ¾ planning to fill up in Vegas. After making a couple more needed stops I hit up Wild Wild West for $20 in gas for 2,000 coin-in. Sunday is the best day to go as they have 2x points with limits of $60 of gas a day and you can also get two packs of cigarettes for 1,000 points each. The machine I liked playing was occupied so I opted for 5 line quarter ten coin. The two left buttons didn't work so I was forced to play off the screen. Since my car only holds 8 gallons empty and it was no longer Sunday I opted to just to do the 2k. Ended up losing $54 combined with other things. On the corner of Trop where you turn into Wild Wild West's gas station there are almost always lot lizards working but weren't any tonight so I figured they were with clients and thus a high correlation with Broke being in town and occupying a spot in the yard. I listened for full volume playing of Gun N' Roses b-side tracks and the smell of a full excrement bucket riding shotgun but it was a quiet/smell-less night so Broke's presence seemed somewhat unlikely. It was now about 8 o'clock at night. Outside of Reno and Vegas area I think I'm down to, including bar and truck stops with machines, less than 5 places in Nevada left unscouted except for in the middle of nowhere Ely. So for no particular good reason other than having a uncashed $50 voucher in Tonopah, having an extra day to kill after Reno being scratched, and never being to Ely I decided this would be a great chance to knock it off the bucket list of stepping foot in every casino in Nevada. I consulted with my friend with strong knowledge of rural Nevada about Ely (“First driving to Tonopah then Ely on the way Colorado is like decided to go Arizona via Los Angeles and second there is nothing there...”) but I was still undeterred and added 600 miles of 2 lane driving to the exit from Vegas. I swear to god I put a hitch on my car for something I never got around to doing (may be the world's only prius compact with a hitch). No clue how you would find out but do you want me to investigate towing limits? Guessing probably under 500 pounds?

If 75 plays over 5 weeks I'll play. If we do something similar to last time and use HRWager's lines (can't put in plays late at night when I usually have free time...) I'm probably not going to play but I may follow IAG's lead and stake someone. Obviously either way my offer to add winnings from last time if PO is excluded or give to a charity associated with the victims of Katrina (i.e. PO's dogs) stil stands...

Currently 23Feb-11Mar. Got some adjusting to do (I always book Southwest to start for this very reason...) so 90% that it will change. I always considered myself a roaming member (kindof the Todd Packer of the MM?) so the EC branch is welcome to claim me whenever I'm past the Mississippi. WASABI corn nuts. Small distinction that keeps the lifestyle +EV. Pretty sure not in this lifetime although can't be 100% as, when I was "more young and naive" (up to about 3 or 4 years ago?), I've voluntarily fried my brain with shit slightly harder than weed (which obviously includes alcohol...) a handful of times.. Maybe in a previous life? I've offered to book the little person at better than pinnacle prices on more than one occasion but, with the obvious requirement that all bets (both ways...) would be escrowed ahead of time with cash, it never went down. If I could 100% sure I was only getting his action I wouldn't think twice about booking all of it at like two cents better than pinnacle. Does milage deductions count? If so at 58 cents a mile it WAS easily over .50 cents till today... I'm getting ready to take my first 8 hour+ nap since I left Laughlin so likely a longer update after that.

Are we doing this again? If so and Slimer is excluded use it to seed the next one. If not I'm donating it to the Louisana SPCA. Either you can send it in for me or I can, I don't care.

Left Laughlin yesterday with the plan to head up to Reno Sunday on the way out of Nevada hitting up bunch of the dive casinos on 95 then I-80 on the with a bunch of small, shitty offers (worth doing if you passing through type of things...) along the way. I got stuck in Laughlin yesterday on some shit, had a $500 offer yesterday in Vegas so missed my Sunday promo in Reno. Friend in Reno texed today that promo I wanted to do the next couple days was also dead. I got shit I could do in Laughlin the next couples days but honestly don't feel like heading down there for the 21st short trip since Thanksgiving so think I'm going to head to Colorado (HPT in Black Hawk) and maybe scout out casinos in Mesquite tonight. Looks like Black Hawk is suppose get a decent snow storm tonight. Probably no issue for them but I drive a compact Prius (with no snow tires or chains..) something I rather avoid. Don't really care as long as I stuck in once I'm there as I really don't have firmed plans for a couple weeks with a flight out of Oklahoma to AC.

IMHO all gambling forum needs a good perpetual poverty road trip thread so with the resident truck driver/dwarf/scammer clearly going to be MIA for awhile I offered to Kinger to fill in... I've been in Vegas (well techinically Nevada as I made about 5 trips to Reno and like 20 trips to fukking Laughlin) for like three months so going to hit the road for a few months.
