  3. LaVar Ball said, "I'm going to wait until I get more intel on what's going on" before he comments on LiAngelo Ball's arrest but said he's not worried. "He'll be fine," he said. "Everyone's making it a big deal. It ain't that big a deal." 12:42 AM - Nov 8, 2017· Shanghai, People's Republic of China If the arrest holds up and the UCLA trio is convicted, Ball, Hill and Riley could face harsh punishment in a country that is renewed for its zero tolerance penal code. Shoplifting in China carries a minimum sentence of three years in prison and a maximum sentence of a decade, according to the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China. bear in mind this isn't a matter of IF they shoplifted. They have ADMITTED they did. 100% certain, Joe Blow from Des Moines does this................ 3 years hard time as a minimum

  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9T1YT0j6uyQ In an upcoming televised interview with Joe Buck scheduled to air Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on the Audience Network show Undeniable, the former Indiana coach had plenty to say about his exit from the Hoosiers while also taking some shots at John Wooden and UCLA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u7vdVqnYVg In a preview clip of the show that has been published to YouTube, Buck asks Knight about some of the incidents he dealt with at Indiana, including choking a former player, Neil Reed, during a practice, and grabbing an Indiana student who confronted Knight in an immature manner. “Well, I’m not going to talk about it, because I’m sure that at one time or another I grabbed a lot of kids,” Knight said of the Reed incident to Buck. When Buck pressed Knight for more details, asking, “Did society change during the course of time?” Knight responded, “No, I think that people changed there. Enough people changed there that were tired of basketball being the guiding light of the university, and I won’t go in any other direction.” Knight also had some harsh words for the former Indiana student that he grabbed after the student greeted Knight with an immature remark, saying, “Hey Knight, what’s going on?” “That kid made a dumb mistake,” Knight said of the incident. “I went over to that kid and I did a lot more for the son of a b**** than his parents ever did for him. And I went over there and I said ‘Son, let me tell you something, you don’t address adults like that under any circumstances.’ And that’s why I have no use for Indiana University, because they used that as a reason to get me out of there, and that’s absolute b*******.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6xt5NFQ5aA

  13. If standard practices are applied, the three UCLA basketball players – including LiAngelo Ball – arrested Tuesday in mainland China under suspicion of shoplifting face between three and 10 years in prison if convicted, according to Chinese lawyers who briefed Yahoo Sports on the applicable laws. The sentencing guidelines could shift depending on the amount that the Chinese could prove was allegedly stolen. Authorities believe the players shoplifted from a Louis Vuitton store near the UCLA team hotel outside of Shanghai. The Bruins are in China to play Georgia Tech on Saturday in the season opener. The players were arrested Tuesday after local law enforcement came to the team hotel and questioned both UCLA and Georgia Tech players before taking the three away. ESPN first reported the arrests.
