  6. I wasn't complaining, just mentioning that enabling can happen in various ways. I should've mentioned in my post that it was good he at least banned Brock because you're right, that definitely is worth something so I didn't mean to sound like I was underscoring that fact. I just want boat to 100% not let Brock back unless he gets paid back because not only would it not be right for boat to be the bagholder here, but letting him back without paying boat back would just enable Brock further to repeat the same behavior down the line.
  7. Their algorithm decided to bleed you today, gotta block the casinos
  8. I like McDermott too but he's really not that much better than Vrable. Are you folks really that unhappy with him?
  9. Sorry boat, but you're his biggest enabler by far from what I understand of this situation. I get that you're doing it because you want people paid and for the good of the forum, but Brock has now once again gotten away with his behavior. He couldn't be happier at this very moment, likely thinks of you as a pushover/sucker, and that he could do this again whenever he wants to because someone will always be there to clean up his mess. He shouldn't be allowed back here until he pays you back, no grey area. But it looks like you're not willing to make that a firm guideline either. That's textbook enabling 101. Just being honest here. Not attacking your character, merely saying how it is.
  10. Where's the proof he has the keys? Far safer assumption it's a lie
  11. He's a textbook, clinical definition of a sociopath and that's a source of morbid curiousity for many people. Let's hope someone in his family donates his brain to science
  12. Yeah I realize that, his threads at The Rx were always a guilty pleasure to read. This one was especially popular and got referenced all the time over the years.. http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=373754 Anyway, I've long felt he needs to be euthanized since even the safety nets society provides him haven't seemed to helped. But I'm just kicking a dead horse at this point..
  13. Fuck me, I'm proper depressed now and actually feel a bit for the guy..
  14. Man, that building looks like a prison or halfway house from the exterior and the neighborhood is only 39% White. Interior pics are especially grim...
  15. you went 100% to cash, or did you try any bonds and the like? what mutual funds are you in currently?
  16. good technique but also leads to a much tougher scrub of the grill afterward, the trade offs
  17. I understand that now. But again, I thought that 80% figure wasn't necessarily fixed but could be variable as more people got tested. That then led me down the fruitless road of introducing new variables into my probability equation which I could not solve for. My fault in over complicating matters, thanks for the opportunity.
  18. That's fair I suppose, but for me it would've helped knowing the % tested because I got stuck on the idea that the 80% testing accuracy rate could potentially change as more people got tested. (For example, in relation to the current Covid crisis where most have not been tested and we're left to spitball real %'s.) Essentially, I got stuck on the assumption that the 80% rate might have been based on an incomplete data set.. (i.e. < 100% of population) and thus I started adding in other variables into my probability equation to try and account for that. However, I can understand why you or anyone else might find the need to know that info irrelevant or that I simply over complicated things in retrospect.
  19. My only pushback on the way the question was asked was that it didn't provide what % of the population had been tested. For example, it could have included the following additional info in bold: Assume 1% of people have the virus and X% of the population has been tested. (where X is defined) Instead, it only included the first part:
  20. Need more info - can't answer without knowing the % of world population that has been tested thus far.
  21. do you have any open buy orders at targeted prices on anything? forget if it was you or another poster who had mentioned eying BA before..
  22. Stop swearing. It makes you sound like a complete lowlife and degenerate.
