jd_
My grandpa, as long as I can remember, always kept a stash of $2 bills. He passed them out to kids in the community and anytime someone gave birth, he took the parents one to keep for the kid. I don't know if it was old tradition, or something he just did, but he became known for it. He had done it for many years. When he died last year, a lot of the families and friends in the community wrote messages on a $2 bill and placed them in his casket at the wake. Lady at the bank said people were stopping by just to get one one for him. So the $2 has a special meaning to me.
