maron
Getting Holland back from injury with the addition of Cole Hamels helped spur this furious comeback. This with the Houston going through one of their cold snaps has the Rangers on top of the division. Now 1 With their choke players like Fielder and Hamilton, how long until they stop the freeroll and start feeling the pressure of expectaions? 2. Composition of Houston is boom or bust with their offensive style at the plate. They had their tug of war like this with the Angels earlier and we saw the Astros get hot again while wakes are still going on for the Angels. So I want to wager this future..who would you take to win the AL West? THinking Houston still
greenhippo
Despite the downright comical difference in run differential and Houston with much, much better pitching. Rangers will win this division. Astros might not even get 2nd wild card.

tripp
I wouldnt call texas guys chokers, not really a believer in that. But i do think Houston takes the div, just think they have a better team and will make the push back
maron
I look at Fielder and to some extent Hamilton in really regressing when the pressure is on. They freerolled for most of the year because they went under the radar. I think they feel the pressure starting tonight. RL Houston +115 for 9/16 is locked

greenhippo
Gut feeling or some angle you have?Gut feeling. Stats certainly don't back it up. Since August 1st Astros have best ERA in the league, better than Texas at runs scored and HRs. Still gave up an 8 game lead. When you play that good and still give up that many games in 6 weeks it's not in the cards to get back in it. I think they win tonight though. RDTrains
Since starting out 14-6 the Astros have gone 15-38 on the road. Their relief pitchers are now blowing games late they used to save. Combined with a hit or miss offense I'm afraid the Astros will regress further.
