Stroppier Milk
Inside USC is reporting a lot of stuff about Sark-- and ya have to think USC is feeding them to set up the public opinion when they fire a down/out drunk. *Assistants had to control Sark during Arizona State game because Sark was hammered*Sark dropped a flask at a team meeting on Friday*Sark showed up drunk/high this morning*Sark acting "strange" and "crying" while walking around the team.*Sark refusing to answer Haden's calls
Sol Diabler
Wow. It's not like they need to "justify" getting rid of him. Do they? Hayden whiffed on this hire. So maybe he does need to justify it to save his ass. "I hired a good Coach. Or so I thought. He had USC ties. But I didn't know he was a drunk." Stroppier Milk
Well, is he protected under the ADA? Seriously. Can USC fire him if he seeks out help? No idea what standard language is in a coaching contract-- but if he has a real addiction-- and he seeks help, can they fire him?

In AZ, an employer can fire anyone for any reason. No reason has to be given.

Diabs... the ADA is a Federal Law. Which will supercede ANY state law. You're a teacher, right man? The ADA offers every single employee protection from dismissal-- provided the individual seeks and accepts treatment. Now, USC may have language within it's contract with Sark that gives them relief from that. ESPN radio is reporting that a woman's basketball coach fought and won her dismissal from booze/termination last year.

Would you like some Arizona case law where employees sued and WON their jobs back IN ARIZONA because they were wrongfully terminated-- and won under the ADA-- because they argued they were addicts?
