Guest ChrisHarvard Posted January 1, 2016 Report Share Posted January 1, 2016 BYU @ St Mary's 11PM EST BYU travels to St Marys this glorious New Years Eve night.It’s still Christmas break so this place may or may not be packed to gills like it usually is.Never the less, while the cat’s away the mice will play. And I’m talking about OFFENSE. BYU is putting up some awfully strong offensive numbers this season, 80+ on avg. BYU has also been cash machines on the season going 7-3. BYU has played neutral and on the road a bunch this year, I feel they are battle tested in terms of put up or shut up. I think BYU comes in and plays tough against the technically number 3 best defense in the nation The main reason this number is so low has to be the under 60 points the Gaels are allowing 57 points on avg but I see this as a back and forth slugfest to be honest with you. BYU does not play great defense and after the 93 points the Gaels hung on CP, its clear these guys can score some points as well. I should also mention St Mary's is batting 1.000 ATS (9-0). Wowzers. With an over you can't cash it with one team going from 48% fg on the season to 20%. There seems to be a lid on the basket for 80 ppg BYU. Darn shame.
