What should we use for intermediaries? Blockchain is a great wallet. Here is why. Even if blockchain gets hacked, site goes down, or is killed off you can still restore/recover your bitcoin IF you have made a backup.A blockchain backup can be restored to another wallet (Multibit). The safest wallets are offline paper wallets that can be restored to an online wallet when u want to transfer bitcoin. I personally use blockchain AND electrum. Electrum can also be restored/recovered should something happen to your computer.
