Griff The Stiff up to his same old tricks

1 Vice stiffed me for $7000 in contest wins, $2k here and $5k at Madjacks.  Then today, less than 2 weeks later I receive an offer from Stiffin' Griffen to enter his NCAA tourney bracket contest (see below). The prick obviously forgot to take me off his mailing list.   He can't afford to pay his clients off, but he can sponsor another contest.....WTF?   While many clients are completing a forced rollover on their balance that should be free and clear, Stiffin Griffin is still doing the same old things that got him into this situation.  Never change 1-Vice.

Hedge,

You seem to run really well in contests/bailouts.

I feel like you leave off the back stories.

However, he should not be soliciting deposits atm.

What would you like to know Deemer?  Bet Islands stole my entire 10k balance years ago and HRW gave me a bailout.  Now, 1-Vice paid me 5k of my 12k balance and stole the rest.  Pretty straight forward.

Hedge, there have been some posters that have come forward and called you vulgar names.

Such as "contest whore" and "leech".

Others in the community have defended you, as the contests you are so gifted at winning require post ups.

So, I am not playa hatin', but I think you should address these individuals because they speak ill of you, "on the reg" as CK would say.

Hedge didnt you say you agreed to take a lesser amount and write off the 7k in contest wins???  Or what happen, griffin send you 5k and say he was stiffing you on the other?

I agreed to take 5k instead of nothing. Griff lied repeatedly about my pending payout (3k check) before canceling it before the Super Bowl.  He then sent me an email stating that my action was no longer welcome with the switch to the RDG platform.  The new partner, Zack (aka Robbie) called me to say that he could only offer me 5k of the 12k 1 Vice owed me.  It was a take it or leave it offer.

I think what he is saying is that he had no other option but to agree to the 40% payout. He was deemed sharp and was not given the 10X option like many players. He probably agreed to the 5K because he was afraid He might end up with nothing. Also they indeed did keep stalling players saying fhere payout was on the way when they had stopped processing payouts weeks ago. I'm sure there's other guys who took advantage of the nba promo and ran up there balances to 5 digits and were forced to take lesser amounts. This might sound surprising but most guys who have a clue betting don't bother posting in online forms hence there stories never get out.

I don't recall saying anything about AB. As for Zack, I simply stated he made the offer, and to his credit he sent it very quickly.  My problem is  with Griff, who is responsible for this mess.  He gets a 2nd chance with a new partner, and he's back to his same old bad habits--giving away more contest money he doesn't have, and may very well welch on again.  His no-vig March special is going to be another cash drain.  If I were one of the many unfortunate "Rollover Hostages", I wouldn't feel too good about the start of this new partnership.

yes you stated that he made the offer, to me it reads like there was collusion among griffin/zack to only pay you 5k out of 12k... not saying you weren't cheated or short changed, just saying this looked like bashing zack too... unless someone would LIKE getting a take it or leave it call which i can't imagine.

like i said before it's a weird situation, almost everyone with huge rollovers left or taking buyout deals were up HUGE.  not that it excuses it, but most people are still coming out way ahead and are still way better off than if 1vice never existed so it's hard for an objective bystander to feel too sorry for anyone, even though it's a shitty situation, that's all i'm saying.

Lets stop beating around the bush here, I think its awesome the AB has offered to help Grif the Stiff out yet once agan......My problem is with not paying the full balances or making guys continue rolling over deposits that they already have rolled over......Not paying a complete balance is a STIFF, plain and simple......does not matter that AB stepped in so some guys could get a % of the balance........If these balances are not paid in full by Grif the STIFF, then thats exactly what it is a STIFF...Cant be a slow pay, because that is the payment some guys are getting, a % of the total balance they had and thats it...

Im a bit sick of listening to some say well without AB or atleast Grif the STIFF is trying to make it right......Fuck that, Grif is a STIFF!  Then i hear others say well i have been dealing with Grif the STIFF for years and his word has always been good, LOL...Who in their right mind would still be dealing with Grif the STIFF after opening and closing 2/3 books previously? Only a complete moron would....

Grif the STIFF must of went to the same accounting school as Johnny Boy Kreta, LOL    Neither guy knows that you have 1000 of gamblers on your books for thousands and thousands of dollars and only have 150 dollars on hand, but keep soliciting deposits boys, instead of coming clean and saying your broke till its way to late.......     Bunch of white trash that im glad is now in a 3rd world country down in Costa Rica.....Grif the STIFF and Johnny boy Kreta thought they were Mark Zuckerberg, but instead both turned into Bernie Madoff, and both Madoff with us the gamblers cash...........No difference between either guy here, both are losers and disgusting human beings........

Sounds a little off. I know several who had higher balances, myself included, aND while they were offered up front lump sum to settle they were also offered drawn out payment plans with smaller upfront payments and smaller monthly payments.

Sounds like Hedge took the large upfront settlement wanting his cash now and is now attempting to extort the rest using the forums.

Not saying anything is right in scenario just that I think hedge has an angle here.

No, I was only given the lump sum offer, the remainder had to be forfeited in order to collect the "settlement". Maybe it was because my balance was higher than most.  I think you were owed 7k if I recall correctly. Did you have to do additional rollover on your balance or were you also prohibited from playing with the new 1V?   Also, I'm not angling to line jump anyone on payouts.  I just found it distasteful that Griff is back to giving away contest money, while others like yourself wait to be paid.  I really hope you collect your entire balance.
