You've had 39 minutes....Are We There Yet, Daddy?

Got all the way 30 miles past Wickenburg, AZ.  2 lane hwy became a parking lot.  Sat there for an hour before a cop came by and told us it would be hours until they opened the hwy back up.  Drove back to Wickenburg and took an alternate route into California, and up up to NV.

6 fucking hours later.

Yeah.  I'm 2 shots in and 3 beers deep already..

Dibs I am curious, why do you travel so far to a casino when you aren't a larger player money wise? That's a 8 hour round trip isn't it? Seems like you go there a few times a mth

Just seems odd for a guy who wagers 10 dollar  a game.

I assume your slot play is also on the smallish side too?

LOL a bunch of places I love on the list

Bogart's st Louis

Girl & the goat Chicago

Gus's chicken Memphis

Oyster bar

Blues city deli st Louis

I have been meaning to try #21 for awhile now, BAGUETTE CAFE

it was on their 2015 list as well but is on the other side of town...one of these days I'll find my way over there

Palace station Oyster Bar makes an appearance on YELP's top 100 places to eat in the USA...#80

Never would of that that it's worth standing in line for 30 minutes just for a 10 bucks worth of tacos.  Normally get carne asada tacos anywhere I go, but got talked into getting adobada there and never ordered anything else since.

Mike, do you get over to LAKE GENEVA very often?

A great local joint called Popeyes there (not the chicken chane)

my sister's former inlaws live on lake geneva... used to go there at least once/week before hitting the dog track

usually hung out at the abbey resort so this is what my lunch view looked like most of the summer

Played golf at Abbey, just a beautiful place in the summer. Former playboy mansion on the lake as well

yeah it was great, got to use the indoor pool/hot tub any time i wanted also

problem with those yelp reviews is that they are just mediocre places for the masses... even in shitty milwaukee there's 3 country clubs i regularly eat at, where the food/service/ambiance is better than pretty much any restaurant here
