.....of course the giveaways, promos, and the freebies are a way to entice John Q. Public

That's a given

This a good thing for the AP player, as he or she is beating the casino straight up with smart play and then receiving all the extras as a bonus.

bingo

if promos weren't a good idea for the casino (as a whole) then they wouldn't do them, and there would be no advantage for an advantage gambler

overly simplistic example - you can play a 80% game or a 99.4% game and get the same kickback, if the kickback is 2% and the casino thinks it will be 50-50 action then they make $$$ and anyone playing the 99.4% game makes $$$

Another difference is that when I make a post pointing out the negative of something like a casino or sportsbook promo I'm targeting the masses, the majority.

For most people the "deal" will make them poorer, not richer. There may be exceptions but generally speaking most people aren't missing out on something great by not participating in a promo offer. They are better off without it.

Its why I used the lottery analogy earlier. The lottery can't be beaten but there are dozens of powerball jackpot winners that would say otherwise.

Correct, a higher percentage of people lose more on a casino promo than those that profit from it......

Again, this is why promos exist and actually seem to be getting better the last ten years........and why AP's embrace them and will continue to make money from them, in some cases, boatloads, pun intended.

Right so informing the forum of some great offer and advising it should be taken advantage of may be good for 1 or 2 guys its actually a disservice to most.

Most posters are not AP's.

Bobby FK is not an advantage gambler but wants everyone to believe he is. He gets a free hamburger once in a while.

how can free bingo be a disservice to most?

Jesus Christ Mike think about it.

How can free booze for an hour be a service to an alcoholic trying to quit drinking?

Gamblers lose, casinos win more the longer a gambler plays.

Playing bingo for free is a fabulous idea, they should offer it 24/7 365 days a year.

If the only people that ever showed up only played for free and then fucked off the promo would stop.

As they shouldn't. :bulb

You guys keep talking about these things like everyone can or wants to do them.

The info you supply has the potential to benefit a couple of people, infrequently.

it has the potential to benefit a lot more than a couple of people

it's not my fault if people are too closed-minded or stupid to take advantage of what i post... i'd rather throw something helpful and intelligent out in cyberspace than be negative.  who knows, 3 years from now someone might find it and make some money off of something

lol you guys. $2.20 to show in an 11 horse field.

more than half of those horses were garbage

nyquist ran about as poorly as possible, had to stop on the rail and bounce outside, and still got 3rd by a comfy margin, lost photo for 2nd

out of 100 races that is about the worst nyquist was gonna run and still no sweat
