KingRevolver
Let's track plays each week that look like a piece of cake and watch it all unfold. Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5 were THAT play this week... not looking good for them so far.
po69
you are right about that! having said that the Steelers have fumbled at their own 20 yard line early, Then Big Ben threw an INT that was tipped twice at the goal line on second down with plenty of time left in the first quarter. Had they scored that TD then this would be a different game since Pitt gets the ball first in the second. I mean Pitt CANNOT play any worse in this game. They gave up 17 points in the first quarter but none in the second
Deal With It
How do these books set these lines, aka. traps? Did Ben set up a deal? Why is it when a line looks fishy, it usually gets you hook, line & sinker. I stay away from anything that looks too easy, because most of the time it is. yisman
everyone everywhere pointed to the Steelers line just logically based on how the teams have played, Steelers should've been -6 but the Steelers haven't been good on the road

Bagiant
This week...Nov. 16th....in the NFL, I see a few traps for this weekend. The first one that I see on the schedule is Chiefs -1.5-2. The line opened at a pick yet with most of the money coming in on the Seahawks, the line has risen to 2. Another one I'm looking at is the 49ers vs. Giants. The line opened at 3.5 and is still at that price at most shops even though fully 80% of the bets are coming in on the 49ers. The last two involve the SNF and MNF games. The Colts opened at 2.5 point fave and the line has risen to 3 even though 65% of the money is on the Patriots. The Steelers opened up a 5.5 point fave and yet even though 92% of the money is on the Steelers, the line has hardly moved.

theguesser
One line sticks out to me this week. KC -2, -2.5 over Seattle. I'm a Chief fan, but I don't think they warrant being favored over Seattle. I don't fully buy in to the Chiefs.

Doughy
FWIW, Bagiant, I don't think KC -2 is a trap at all. I fully expect the Chiefs to beat a banged up Seattle squad in the blistering cold of Arrowhead, where they are a much better team than on the road (and, of course, Seattle is not nearly the same on the road). I'd be surprised if Seattle wins.

KingRevolver
Toronto Raptors +3, +3.5, +4 tonight vs. LeBron's Cavs Cleveland lost to the Wizards last night, 91-78 Toronto beat the Bucks last night, 124-83 Raptors have a 10-2 record, and the Cavs have a 5-6 record. They'll be playing in Cleveland, but you would think the Raptors + points would be a piece of cake. That means the Cavs are going to win by 10+
