Actually, food comps around the city are plentiful..........more than enough, and at a wide range of eateries.

yisman, every casino is still really generous with food comps. You just have to ask for them more than before now.

 

About 10 years ago, if they saw you winning then they would come over and shower you with comps so you wouldn't leave their casino with THEIR money!!

 

 

Now, they just sit on the sidelines and wait until it appears that you are leaving or until you lose. You really have to be proactive and say something like your wife wants to eat right now so you must go. Then say that she wants to go somewhere OUTSIDE of the casino to eat but ask for a $100 food comp at that casino and you will just stay there. Or ask for 2 buffet comps which is even easier to get

I like to tip good at places I frequent a lot.  I got special service at Twin Creeks.  They put the best steaks aside for me etc.  If the meal is free I feel the tip should be generous.  Many pros are so cheap.  It makes me ad FH sick.  FH very, very good tipper as well.

makes sense... I always take the other view and say why sit for hours at a machine to grind out 50 in +ev just to hand it to someone that worked for about a minute, and was already getting paid to do so

 

15-20% is already more than fair, most countries laugh at how much we tip

I mean it isn't like he is running into traffic to get you that cab. He has a line of 15 cabs just waiting to be whistled up to the front. Why should this guy get tipped at all??

it's weird which guys get tipped sometimes

 

was on a shuttle to/from mall of America a couple weeks ago, and both times I was the only guy that gave the driver anything
