I went through it in my early 20's, took one or two blue footballs everyday for like 7 or 8 months couldn't sleep for like a fuxkin week. I'll never forget being at college and going to the bar and slamming back shots of jagermeister just to try and help me sleep. Well it didn't help me sleep one bit and I couldn't even get drunk no matter how much I drank. Fucking miserable. I know joeybagadonuts had a bad experience with xanies too. For some reason they were everywhere when I was in my early 20's which was early 2000's. Not sure why there were so many on the street back then but I rarely hear of anybody buying them on the street these days, now it's all about the pain pills. Can't even remember the last time I took a Xanax, has to be a minimal of 10 years . You have to ease off that shit. You can't just stop taking a benzo after prolonged regular use. It fucks with your brain. You have to let your natural brain chemicals slowly build back up to account for the missing meds. I was on 1.5 mg/day (0.5 3x daily) xanie for many years. I tried cold turkey and yeah, it blows. Doing it the right way I got off it in 6 months with very little discomfort. Just had to incrementally decrease my dosage over time. Went like this 0.5 morning, 0.5 afternoon, 0.5 evening0.5 morning, 0.25 afternoon, 0.5 evening for 2-3 weeks0.25 morning, 0.25 afternoon, 0.5 evening for 2-3 weeks0.25 morning, 0.25 afternoon, 0.25 evening for a couple monthsThen I cut out the morning does, then the evening does, then the finally the afternoon does My doctor recommended this stepdown schedule. I knew when I was ready to take each additional step because my anxiety had leveled back out and I just felt ready. So, relax IAG, if you ever want to get off them, it is possible. Soma is the most under appreciated drug in this land of ours, people don't know about its beauty, Soma pills matter. You can walk into any pharmacy in Mexico and buy Soma, which I did. I'm not a huge fan , but ok especially for sleep. Made the mistake of mixing with an OxyContin once and that was awful. Thought I was going to stop breathing. Too high.
