roachman
Hard Rock must be really hurting to be concerned about a card counter winning 3K. Vegas can legally ban you from playing BJ due to Ken Uston taking the casino to court. I was back off in Resorts in AC for winning over 5K, but AC casino cannot legally bar you but they counter by reshuffling if you press your bet 20x. Every time I bet max bets(500) pit boss would tell dealers to reshuffle, I even waited till the next shift and didn't show ID they still reshuffled if I bet more than 100. These casino are sore losers. I went to Cherokee this past Sunday and won 900, I bet 2 $400 hand and had 19 and 20 vs dealer 5, the count justified to split and it was deep in the deck so I split 4x and got all 20s, DAM dealer shows a 15 hits a 5. That was a hugh swing but I was the favorite in that spot. Its like poker when you are ahead and idiots hit a one outer on the river. BJ rules are getting worst as casinos bottom line is shrinking. Most all casinos hit soft 17 and some Vegas casinos only pay 6-5 on BJ. I remembered the good old days in 80s playing 4 deck games in AC and very liberal comps and rules like resplitting aces up to 4 hands I refuse to play bad BJ rules like Cherokee 2 deck pitch you can only double on 11. One good comp Cherokee got is cash coupons, not those match play coupon. http://www.po.kernews.com/news/2015/09/card-counter-sues--hard-rock-22806.htm
KingRevolver
Brick and mortar Blackjack getting worse and worse. Soon enough all of them will have 6-to-5 BJ. Bunch of nonsense.

Sol Aristatel
I've only played maybe 2 hands ever of 6/5, and that was by mistake, dont do it people. It's here to stay at all the lower limit tables. People are idiots and would probably still play if BJ paid EV. Hell. Thats probably coming next. FISHHEAD
Wynn/Encore has very good BJ RMI early last month put in a couple one hour or so sessions after not playing there for months and months, won 3-4K over the two sessions. Came back two days after the second session and was told they appreciate his business at the Wynn, but NO MORE BLACKJACK
WVU
It seems some of these places are banning not only card counters, but guys who play simply using basic strategy. Complete bullshit. They want people splitting 10s and standing on 16 vs 10.
FISHHEAD
In some cases, It gives pit bosses something to do and makes them seem more important than they actually are. Personally, not an advantage blackjack player(should be)......Rmi, Ronald, and Voodoo are three posters here at TGF that are very, very in-tune with the overall blackjack scene here in Vegas. Thats probably coming next. I've never been forced to play 6/5 yet, either in vegas or here in MN, If I ever am, I'll stop playing bJ, it's hard enough to win as it is. roachman
I not only shop for the best BJ rules, deep penetration is very important to counters. Cherokee only cut away 1.5 to 1.25 deck off which is about the best you can find. I played at WV casino they cut off 2 to 2.5 decks but do not hit soft 17. ronald
Bannings are common Yes. Card counting is extremely easy. Avoiding detection is the part that requires some tact and skill.

On the Vegas Strip, its seems its getting very hard to find a $10 BJ table that is not 6/5. There is a reason for this. The lemmings play it and fill up the tables. I stopped playing years ago. Its the squarest fucking game in the casino. That's why there are more BJ tables then any other table game. With the current rules at most joints, it seems like its tougher and tougher to grind. Even if you play perfect basic strategy. Continuous shufflers. 6/5. No double after splitting aces. Bullshit. Fuck Black Jack. Play Pai Gow and video poker. Sol Aristatel
6/5 blackjack still hold a lower house edge (1.45%) than most other table games offered What about with all the other bullshit rules? That shit adds up fast. And the continuous shuffling? I don't dig that. If you are pro gambler that grinds, BJ at a good table with good rules is one of your better options. If you wanna have a good time, stretch your dollar, and drink like a fish for free... Pai Gow >>>>> Black Jack
roachman
Best BJ rules are in Biloxi and Tunica. When they first opened BJ table had 5-5000 limits, stand all 17 and split aces 4x. BJ teams ruin the BJ game because of their greediness the casino have countered with lower limits and less favorable rules. I just turned 60 and was going to move to Vegas but with the casino heat might not.

Sol Aristatel
Sorry, pai gow house edge is 1.46 compared to 1.45 for 6/5 BJ Why are you sorry? I'm not trying to compare house edge. Pai Gow is a much slower game. So you have to take that into consideration when factoring how far your gambling dollar goes. And there are much more variables involved. You can't just compare 6/5 BJ to pai gow. You need all the table rules to get the true house edge of each game.
