milwaukee mike
Mike are you going to litter box train your bunny? I didn't know that was a thing, but apparently it is. for now i think she has only been going in the cage, unless i find something somewhere peeing on the carpet would be much worse than the little round poop
joeybagadonuts
Couldn't kill a rabbit myself but sure do love eating them! Had a rabbit dumpling stew in NEW ORLEANS that was outstanding. Also love a good rabbit cooked on a rotisserie.
spankie
Rabbit is tremendous eating. It's hard to view such a cuddly little creature as food. I get it.
milwaukee mike
Mike, some people rely on rabbit as a primary source of Protein. Isn't it mean to go to McDonald's and order a 20 piece of chicken nuggets where the chickens were raised shoulder to shoulder with no room and sitting in piss and shit? I dunno. at least mcdonald's quit using that pink slime (or so they say), that was disgusting there's been some alt-news lately that mcdonald's uses human meat... not sure about that, but i think they process a lot of their patties using prison labor
spankie
I was more sad when my hamster Willy died than when my dad butchered the "pet" rabbits. We knew they were going to be food. The term used was "growing rabbits".
rdalert447
You can also use a spray water bottle for discipline. They hate that.

milwaukee mike
guy i play poker with raises them and chops them up and feeds them to his cats seems like pretty expensive cat food, unless you're just feeding the rabbits grass i wonder what the cost/serving would be, if you figured minimum wage for the time taken to raise the rabbit and kill it/prepare it

milwaukee mike
As low as 25 cents/lb if grass fed. but that's not valuing his time at anything can't be much fun killing animals to feed to other animals... seems like you're taking nature out of the equation, no other animal would be dumb enough to kill something just to give it away
spankie
No, can't imagine that would be fun. I see those gigantic 30 feet long snakes being fed live rabbits on youtube. Now that's messed up.
