Damn.  Wish you were coming out this week while I'm on Spring Break.  What are the exact dates you are going to be out here?  Going anywhere besides Flagstaff?

Haven't got my flight yet, but flying into Phoenix sometime around Sat night (March 11) and flying back likely Thursday. I will be spending 3 days skiing.

Solo trip?

Ive never been skiing...  Been to Flagstaff numerous times as I grew up in Northern AZ.  But never to Snowbowl.

Since you are going to be up that way, you should check out the Grand Canyon and Sedona if you have never been.  Numerous cool things you could see in the Verde Valley around Sedona as well.  Montezuma's Castle and Jerome are cool places to see in the area.

There is a new casino/resort just outside of Flagstaff.  I hear its nice.  Twin Arrows.  Think Kinger has been there.  Where he filmed his famous drunkin' vid from the hotel room if I remember correctly.

Yes, I stayed there a couple of nights when I met George and his family up there.

First off, like 75% of the people staying there were Indian.  Yes, I know the casino is on the Indian Res, but usually people at these casinos are White/Hispanic/Other.  That casino had mostly Indians.  Cracked me up for some odd reason... just had never seen that... LOL

But the service there was good, food was edible, and the room was pretty good- so no complaints.

Since its in a more rural location, I could see that.  Its like that at Apache Gold just outside of Globe as well.  Mostly Indians staying in the hotel and in the casino it seems like.

If you want some variety and get really crazy, take a 3 hour drive to Sunrise Park and ski there as well.  Its near Greer, AZ in the White Mountains.

If you were to get crazy and do this..  You would pass by the casino on the way, as well as travel through Winslow, Arizona.

You could stand on the corner and see some fine sites.

Only been to 2 casinos on earth that weren't majority Asian.

Some place in Spain and the MONTE CARLO CASINO in MONACO which was all white / middle eastern.

Never been to flagstaff so pretty jacked. I've been to Phoenix and Tempe only with a quick side trip to a ghost town and an Indian village, not sure where.

Kind of a hippie/college town.  The downtown area is small but kind of cool.  Some decent restaurants and bars.

They have had tons of snow up there this winter.  So the skiing should be good I would imagine.
