Mike75
Of coure my team is Tennesee Titans. From '99 first year as team in TN through 2004 the team had the most wins in the league and best record twice mainly due to Steve McNair. From 2005 through today this team struck out on Vince Young and Jake Locker. In 2014 they drafted Zach Mettenberger in the sixth round. In his rookie season Mett led NFL in passing in preseason and set team and MNF records for a rookie. However in the six games he played in the guy improved game to game completing passes of 80,68,48,43 and 40 yards. He posted an 83.4 passer rating, threw eight touchdown passes and averaged 7.89 yards per attempt, eighth among NFL quarterbacks. Not bad for a rookie and he was injured against when Watt fell on his shoulder mainly due to the Titans shitty offensive line. There may be a good chance he is brought back. Most of the fans who watch the games want Mettenberger back and do not want the team to draft Winston. No team has had a worse QB situation the last ten years than Tennessee. How bad is it?? Well every season since 2005 they've had a different leading passer each season. That is truly terrible. Other teams i think that have had it bad at QB are Buffalo,Tampa,Oakland,Jax,Kansas City,NY Jets,Cleveland,St Louis,Minnesota,Washington, etc. Some are just now finding guys like K.C. with Alex Smith,Oakland with Carr,Miami with Tannehill,Minnesota with Bridgewater, etc.
Mike75
We could add Chicago to the list but Cutler is good statistically if he can improve on the turnovers like interceptions and fumbles. Oh and Tennessee is among teams they are saying could pick him up if he leaves Chitown. I would rather stick with Mettenberger. A couple years back i would've loved to have Cutler but not now. He seems like he is pouting all the time and a locker room cancer.
Hangover
Cutler is not good. Nice arm...but not a good qb. Im in same boat as you being a Jets fan. I believe drafting a franchise QB is pure luck in that it all depends on timing of kid coming out, draft position and team sucking balls at the right time....see Andrew Luck. Jets n Titans seem like the stars will never align and probably time to result to witchcraft or whatever.

I was wondering what your opinion is on Rex Ryan being let go? As for me i like Ryan BUT the GM this year really screwed it up for the team. Rex is not stupid and knew there was a chance they might keep him but he wanted out as well so he forced their hand with news of him cleaning out his office early. He probably followed the 49ers possible HC opening more than anyone in the world and will gladly change coasts.

Mike75
You dont think Clevelands QB situation the last decade as been worse ? Yes it is just as bad or worse. Think they give Hoyer a contract and stick with him in 2015?

Yeah i didn't think of S.F. they have a better offense than New York and have a good defense so if Rex goes there i think he has a good chance of being successful. Hangover
You dont think Clevelands QB situation the last decade as been worse ? Browns fall into the same category as our Jets and Titans. Bad luck, no franchise qb coming out the yrs they suck or stuck signing/starting disposable qbs who are just good enough to ensure bad draft position.
