The crazy thing is even after dropping their last three games they backed into a playoff spot but it didn't matter they got blown out by twenty points to Seattle. So the Lions lost their last four games failing to score a TD in two of those games. Also last season they got very lucky winning six games by four points or less and most were come from behind victories. In team efficiency ratings Detroit ranked 27th in DVOA a method of evaluating teams.
FairWarning
They had a lot of injuries at the skilled positions. I thought the MVP was the OC, JB Cooter. He has gotten more out of Stafford than the predecessors.
Mike75
They had a lot of injuries at the skilled positions. I thought the MVP was the OC, JB Cooter. He has gotten more out of Stafford than the predecessors. Yep i've heard a lot of good things about Cooter and he has done great with Stafford. Toward the end of last season they went downhill fast. They lost their last three games only scoring six points against the NY Giants and getting blown out at Dallas losing by twenty one then lost to Green Bay in the final game of the season. They made the playoffs but got beat down 26-6 by Seattle. Thats four straight loses to end the year. Hopefully this season they get off on the right track.
